George was always my favorite Beatle and his solo career has made me appreciate him even more. George sang about peace and love, because that's what he believed in and it's what he wanted for the world. How could anybody improve on that? There's only one way. Bring in Jeff Lynne to co-write and produce. Those two were such a brilliant team and I'm glad that they were such great friends also. Thank you Jeff. All the love is yours.

I still have a hard time watching George's videos and knowing now he's no longer with us.

I can never get enough of this song, its so pure, bright and uplifting. Lyrically perfect, melodic shifts at every turn. It is the most perfect composition.

In 1971, George Harrison asked us the question "What is Love?", and then finally brought us the answer here in 1987 with "This is Love". Just a nice little detali that I noticed

He wasn't perfect, like every one of us. But his soul was. Like all of ours. And he sang his soul in every song. He will always be the Beatle that means the most to me. He helped me to grow up. He helped me understand the world around us with greater patience, greater compassion, and most of all knowing that pain is part of life. And escaping your pain only puts it away to come back another day. It is better to live through that pain, and learn from it, so that you don't keep bringing it with you the rest of your life. Bless you George. You have a beautiful soul, because it always exists. It's all of us. Some of us just see it more clearly when we're here. And some will another time. I'm glad I was around while you were around to know what to look for.

I still catch myself knowing that George has gone 😢

So glad he got to have a "resurgence" while he was alive and healthy. He had those few "new" hits (like this one) when I was near graduating high school. He was very much loved and not forgotten by a damn sight.

George was such an underrated song writer, even by John and Paul. He loved them none the less. George was peace, love, laughter, happiness and spirituality personified. RIP George. Jamming with John in the great gig in the sky. You were all, and still are FAB! Rest in Paradise George and John. You know. I can't believe that they chose, Lennon and McCartney, that is, songs like, Bungalow Bill and Martha My Dear, over George's, Sour Milk Sea and Run of the Mill amongst others. In my opinion Sour Milk Sea blows them both out of the water, or, sour milk if you like :) No wonder our George got so frustrated. Bless him. He even gave The Beatles, Here Comes the Sun and Something. He could have saved them for his solo albums. After The Beatles, George had the deepest and most spiritual life which is reflected in his music, and of course how he lived in his personal life and carried himself. I love John Lennon. Actually, he was always my favourite when I was a kid as I could relate, but he was always the angry rebel, and Paul McCartney was too lovey Dovey, although he wrote some master pieces like Band on the Run and was undeniably the driving force behind The Beatles. Lennon and McCartney, great songwriters, but George was on another level with his depth of spirituality. It upsets me to see people, Beatles fans arguing online and putting the other Beatles down who are not their favourites. Paul, John, George and Ringo all loved each other, at the beginning and at the end. We should respect them and do the same. Afterall... All You Need is Love... Right? I had never heard this song until today. first time in my life. after so many years following the Beatles. What a great Christmas present!

He was so amazing and when he pulled out the 3 disc album, I'm sure the other Beatles had some idea he's been writing songs.But not to that extreme. George was also the 1st to put together a Concert of the best musicians for Concert for Bangladesh.Which started a trend .
