I came for the programming but stayed for the politics and philosophy. I agree with your mail-in voting stance. I am living in Spain now and they have a national holiday for elections.
Is it possible to score packs in Hong Kong? dn? idk I'd live there, can't be dealing with place like Dubai where us sub optimals primes smokers get thrown in cells. Sometimes man needs a little flower power, those commits aren't gonna write themselves and motivation is fleeting.
Hi George. Thanks for the PR merge on Fashion MNIST. I listened part of the video before this while doing chores (rant vid). It would be interesting if you'd reach out to someone like Auron Macintyre @AuronMacIntyre and just have a general chat about politics and the state/trend of the world. Anyway time to watch how you fixed CLOUD=1. Thanks for the stream.
Okay so I'm a half decent programmer. Plenty of Python experience. But I'm a brokey Brit slinging web slop for the Man. Day rate contractor gun for hire. Read about neural nets from uni library years ago, not really read up on transformers, but using LLMs all day long via API. How do I break into the domain of TinyGrad and ML? I could prolly make contributions, but it's hard to know how to break into stuff closer to the hardware, I think your community manager and technical writer might need to be the same person.
Have you tried hacking on the Github repo and trying to fix a few small things, or just become familiar with the codebase and lurk in the Discord for a bit to understand how the community works? I don't contribute to tinygrad, but that's how I'd start (and the Discord is good value - you can learn quite a bit just reading that).
People are so conditioned to give up that they think most jobs including programmers are obsolete in 3 years!! lol remember "A.I. can't even play Mario 64" while a 7 year old can easily speed run it.
your brain is trying hard to convince you you will not lose job 😂 sorry but if not in 2-3 years in 7-10 it will happen. 10 years might seem a lot but its nothing
@@bollvigblack "the quality of being likely to attack other people or animals, or to behave in a violent or angry way towards them" doesn't fit here...
people experiencing degrowth are the main degrowthers they became so depressed and cynical that they want hurt everyone like they were hurt. they need God maybe.
my main problem with geohot is that he seems like the type of guy who hate the idea of having children. children represent infinite potential for growth and you geohot you are rapidly losing potential you wont solve anything that big in your life youre children might but not you. (oups just heard more I retract what i said)
Goerge, you're political takes are terrible. He runs a company so he thinks being "pro business" whatever he thinks that means is the most important thing in the world for a country. It isn't. Also he keeps citing China as our biggest threat. Guess what China is absolutely not pro business. Move your business to China if you like it so much then tell us how pro business the CCP is. There are other things in politics then enabling business owners to make as much money as possible.
Dude China is so pro business they brought hundreds of millions of people out of the mountain villages into providing the world with goods, that’s pretty pro business, maybe not pro humanitarian which you seem to mix up, but definitely pro business…. I mean the entire global order is based on banking which can trade hands like how to went from England to America
