I almost cry watching this video. I can see they both love each other very much.So sad they never got back together if they had maybe Tammy would still be with us. I love her songs she sings.Rest in peace beautiful lady~~~
Soulmates now in Heaven singing with the Angels. I read the book and it makes me cry, their lovestory was so heartbreaking but they remained friends till the end, with love in their hearts even though there was so much pain. I remember my mother sitting at the kitchen table with the old portable 8-track machine, listening to George & Tammy and all the other country icons, crying...now when I hear these songs I do the same. My parents instilled this in my soul. RIP George
When I think about it, even after all of the problems the Queen and King of Country Music had as husband and wife, they still had great chemistry on stage.
Together again singing a duet for God and the angels. They did and still do love each other. He wanted to know and she said certainly I love you. What a lovely sound in heaven with all the talented singers there. Wow. That's where I plan to be front row some day.
Yes, she was the first one I thought of when I heard the news. They will sing in Heaven together now, with the other greats gone before. Never will there be another voice like his.
what a trooper she was, even when George would spit in her face while he sang she would just wipe it away and they would laugh about it..........just love them.
Thinking about George and Tammy being together again. Had to stop by. I always liked this video. The camera work was not the greatest because at the end of "Golden Ring" they kissed and the camera decided to take a crowd shot. They were pretty good together. Rest in Peace, Possum.
NO ONE can every take there place ... but they are both finaly together forever and they will never have to part again ! This is a couple that clearly LOVED each other all throughout the years they just couldn't make there marriage work but you can tell they truly LOVED EACH OTHER !
George seems more than a little smitten with Tammy here! I'm sure they always continued loving each other; it was his drinking that got in the way. Must be hard -as performers when they're not touring together and are apart as a couple too. Love them both !
TAMMY & GEORGE TOGETHER AGAIN. THEY REALLY LOVED EACH OTHER. YOU CAN SEE IT EVERY TIME THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER. A PERFECT MATCH. I LOVE YOU TAMMY & GEORGE.
I believe that they really loved each other. I do't think he ever loved anyone else in that same way. I hope they are singing together in heaven. Thanks again to make mine country2. Wonderful music.
if you ever seen them on stage in person they make you smile you always had an good time. rememories they left us are pure gold. now the two sing on the biggest stage ever heaven god bless them both we'll miss them
My God, they were truly made for each other...goodbye pure country... thank God we have these videos...I HATE most of this cross over shit today... they are in heaven making even better music...love them....
This video when viewed will teach you why they both as individuals and a duo are two of the greatest ever voices in any genre of music that the good Lord has blessed us all with!!!
I love watching these clips when George was 'struggling' with his addictions. I think this was his best music and he was the happiest. Just my opinion I suppose...
on this one- you can tell they still love each other,, so happy,, my opinion......golden rings.he ask her if she - loves him..they kiss at the end..if they had met after his--drinking days-- no one could have kept them apart- he even said ,, he was a mean drunk.- my opinion- they both died-- still - in love -with each other.. -- together again now.. R.I.P. Both of you. you'll never be forgotten- missed forever..
Thank you for all the fond memories George, you were a very memorable part of many of our childhoods, singing on the radio, and coming into the hearts and homes of millions. You have left a void in Country music, that will never be filled. And thank you for real, and for sharing your amazing gift, that voice. It could somehow express a full range of emotions, and could illustrate and communicate so well with the listener. You are missed and loved by us, our prayers are with Nancy and the family.
I did not know these two were married!!! I first found George Jones about 40+ years ago when I fell in love with Gene Pitney and came across an LP( album) with them both! It became one of my favourites, I had never heard Gene sing with anyone else before! I was 15,George was probably my introduction to Country & Western music which is still my favourite genre!! What happened to them? their love? Would love some feed back!( I am from New Zealand,)
hi terry just read your remark that u were in this audience im an australian and only heard these 2 on records etc it must have been magic seeing them perform live
I've recently fell in love with country to say the least. I work in a country bar and Im hooked ever since I have been bouncing their. What is the name of the first song if anyone knows. I love it!!! That has to be one of the best classic country duets ive heard yet.
