@@PlayNiceFolks it’s still pretty good even though the beginning might not be for everyone. Doesn’t matter anyway since he survived. Even in the solo movie, which is live action.
@@PlayNiceFolksWith every project that came after Clone Wars and Rebels, I liked Clone Wars and Rebels less and less until I didn't like either one at all. The totality of Star Wars is still six movies written by George Lucas and sometimes the old EU on rainy days.
I went to the theater filled with so much hope and expectations. then I kept lowering my expectations, starting when they had a fat jew alien flying around and actually hovering with tiny wings that barely even flapped. I realized this movie was made more for idiots and kids, and their favorite demographic target, stupid kids so I didn't really take it all that seriously.
Did it ever occur to you that there’s a difference between being made for only children and having things for children? Yeah, there are a few fart and poop jokes, but I sincerely doubt the political discussions of trade routes, taxes, and democratic bureaucracy were for the 5 year olds. The slavery and violent deaths also aren’t exactly rated G topics.
I remember going to see this film in 99 and wanted to throw up after I left the theater. Darth mail cool! The rest of the film was pure garbage. I was lucky enough to watch the originals in the theaters in the 70s and 80s. I get it kids who watched if dig them but those of us who were older these movies should have been made for us. He killed Star Wars for folks in my generation.
Star Wars under George Lucas never changed. The demographic you are referring to changed. You guys weren’t kids anymore. Expecting the film to cater to your expectations is not the film’s problem and doesn’t affect the quality of the film. The merits of the film by itself is up to personal interpretation.
