@schismc Thank you (as always). Believe it or not, the amp is a 15 watt Peavey Viper practice amp - blasting in a garage! It was very fun to play through. The strings are Ernie Ball Slinky 9's.
@rguitar Thank you Robert. That means quite a bit coming from you! That entire thing was an improv. If there's a particular passage you are interested int, let me know, and I'll see what I can do to shed some light on it for you, my friend. Keep up the outstanding axe work! George
@cirus2010 Neither. It was a bones blank cut from Chris Wood's CNC (using Craig Rundels' original 3D file) that Craig hand carved and painted. Thanks for watching!
@mapleaxslinger125 The Distortion is very loud, bold and alost brash sounding. I personally feel that it takes over the guitar's tonal personality instead of complementing it. It's a strong magnet, so it may interfere with natural sustain a tad. It won't ruin it though.
@mathiasair Thank you very much for everything! I wish we could've brought it by, but we ran out of time. Feel free to hit me up any time. The guitar turned out unconditionally PERFECT. Best, George
Friggin' sweet! Whoever clicked "dislike" on this video is a complete bonehead--pun intended! Great tone from this monster. I'd bet a DiMarzio Super Distortion or Tone Zone would sound killer in this.
@mapleaxslinger125 I LOVE the JB - powerful and open. Nice round sound. Not too harsh. Screamin Demon is a close second. The '59 is also very nice - lower output and sweeter sounding than the JB. I am a fan of alnico magnets.
Man when I saw Lynch with this Axe back in the day........I was like "D-A-M-N"!!!! that thing is SICK Dude! I Always LOVED this Axe! How many of them do you have & where did you get yours? I can't tell because of the lighting but is that Axe Scalloped passed the 12th Fret or? Thanks for another Killer Vid Dude! Take It Easy.....\m/
