George Martin The Pepperland Suite HD 

The great thing about George's score for "Yellow Submarine" was he treated the film as a FEATURE, not a cartoon.

1:30 for badass Blue Meanies approaching Pepperland theme. Best battle theme ever, that score was ahead of its time.

Sir George, one time you came to Brazil and show us how many important can be the criativity of a man. Thank you for all.I know that all the Beatles fans are with me. God bless you.

Muy bonito popurri de este director y productor de uno del mas grande grupo de la historia. Me gusta mucho el popurri pero hubiera sido maravilloso si terminara el popurri como terminaba la melodia Pepperland del disco de Yellow Submarine. Aun asi, es un buen trabajo de este popurri.

This was a part of my "Insane" period I was apparently "Psychotic" - although to me I only felt extremely happy!!

The "Genesis Revisited" album was released in 1996 - I think. Martin's album came out in 1998 - two years later. Not much chance of any influence from an album that didn't exist - EXCEPT that the Pepperland music Martin created the suite from is found on the pretty awesome orchestral score he wrote for the 1968 film "Yellow Submarine." You're probably right, since the music was floating around 30 years before "Genesis Revisited."
