That is so very true! I am a huge Queen/Freddie Mercury fan. But George is right up there. What a talent. I wish Freddie and George could have performed something together. Just imagine. Wow
I'm not gay but I think George Michael has always been a good looking dude and with his lyrics matching he was undeniably one of the most talented artists
@@cappystrano1 Jokes from just after we heard of his activities in the toilet. What's white and runs down the toilet wall? George Michael's latest release! George has re-released a Wham hit with a slightly different title Wank Me Off Before You Go Go.
I really hope he did too. Brilliant but all that publicity seemed to hurt him deeply & he led such a mixed up life. I hope he’s at peace now. We lost a great artist.
He's been completely honest all along, but that is never enough. The media-seduced public is a terrible thing. This consummate artist has admitted to never caring about money, DID admit he wanted to be a pop-star, but admits -- intelligently -- that he understood that none of that guaranteed privilege. All he ever did was give his art in music. I will always honor him. If he got off the wheel earlier, he might have survived.
I love how George didn’t hide from his arrest. Went on TV shows, talked about it, laughed about it. Best part was making a song and video it...haha hilarious and a great video! Miss this man and great talent so much. RIP George...singing to the angels.
The thing I love about George Michael apart from his music of course, is he just doesn't give a shit. We need more artists to be as open and honest as he is, he's a maverick in the industry.
rolybling I think his outing as being gay & the circumstances of it changed him. He came from a very conservative Greek family & it was hard. Even lovers were prepared to talk about him to press for money. He didn’t really have anyone to trust & lean on, like Elton who he did trust. I think he felt so alone, you can here it in his latter songs, so he took to drugs to dull the pain. His death was a tragedy but in those last weeks he looked so old. I hope he’s at peace now. Why do the genius’s of the industry have such a sad existence ?
@@jeanmyers1787, хороший комментарий! Думаю каждый человек одинок по сути., но DM, это необыкновенный человек, не принимал лож, следовательно его судьба сложилась как сложилась. Жаль, что он был атеист.
I wish it was 1988 forever. It's a selfish dream I know. But at least the greats would still be around. George Michael.Whitney Houston. Robin Williams.Michael Jackson. David Bowie.Glenn Frey.Farrah Fawcett.Prince.Carrie Fisher.Doris Day....there's waaay more but you get my drift.Eternally the way they all were that year giving us their great music or cinematic presence or whatever till the end of time. But anyway.R.I.P Mr Michael.Your undisputed & legendary talent will never die.Bless you & Andrew for Wham & thank you for the memories.
That poor guy was never the same after his true love Anselmo died and then to lose his Mom who he dearly loved not long after...it's too bad he didn't open up to someone and talk about his pain instead of resorting to drugs and alcohol. Another tortured soul taken too early. We still love and miss you. From one of your "Lovelies" ❤️
"It was a lovely park"! I died 😁. Such a nice, talented, genuine & funny human being: & the musical legacy & influence he's left is huge. We all having embarrassing stuff & he dealt with it amazingly. RIP George.
im not gay, i love george michael since 82. i do not care about his personal life. i am here because he has helped me through my life for so long. (and all the other millions of fans) i thank you again george and andrew.
What an amazing talent. Straight or gay, it is hard to argue the talent and he was quite a handsome man, either way. You don't have to f*ck someone to find them good-looking.
George was hysterical: "You mean the time I got caught".... I love that he was so unapologetic as he should have been. Good God even back then we had bigger problems then (as he said) to worry about him taking his Willie out in a public bathroom with no one else in there.😏
Just love his self-deprecating sense of humor. What global super star out there who is capable and always willing to poke fun at himself in public. He had such humility and grace. All laugh and humor, and then he took the stage and sang The Grave. This man really had the courage of his conviction. And such integrity.
It doesn't matter if he was gay or not. He was amazing!!! No One of us can talk about him, no one knows how he felt, why humans are so evil?? Be quiet and look into your heart, are you sure to be better than him?
Liza x I totally agree with you 100%. George is so missed by many. I absolutely love him even in death... I want him to be the one who welcomes me into heavan
The video with the four guys was fabulous! As for George, Graham's skill with 'chat' and his personality made George's visit feel simply natural and welcome.
I love the way he laughs, what a sweet heart! Love his voice and talent and he shared his expertise with us. We are so blessed to have you when we did. May God Bless You Sweet Love.
Man George Michael had a great sense of humour and love his honesty he made no excuses just owned up to it made a joke and moved on nowadays the celebs hide behind an army of entourage and PR with bull shit excuses and sorry's first 🙄
A great Artist - with such a sincere touch to his art and absolutely fascinating perception of life. He IS amazing and, I am sure, he'll stay in the group of inspiring people of art.
I never judged him , like he said he went through a lot at the time. He was a fantastic singer/ songwriter very articulate from the star of his career with a big hart helping charities etc without bragging about it. Gone too soon RIP
I still cant believe hes gone he was so handsome i loved his humour i live in the midlands and went to london last yr to see his grave ive been to 2 tributes going to another this yr rest in peace you lovely man
George Michael is a great talent. A celebrated homosexual, and he showcased it in his songs. He produced so many great hits. I believe that spirituality is conforming to one identity which is relatable to other people.
I was born in 75,so grew up listening to wham & duran Duran, but it wasn't until I entered my 30's that I appreciated how talented george Michael & Andrew ridgley were as musicians & song writers,I still listen to some of there songs now,but don't tell anyone.🙊👍🏻 RIP yug ,
Wham! brought much needed fun to me in the 80s. George Michael was a very special person. Most gay men are unique and powerful - society needs to appreciate their gifts and contributions.
I was never a fan of George by that I mean his genre of music but you have to give credit were credits due he was a gentle, kind man who did have enormous talent and a brilliant voice and it’s a terrible waste when someone of his stature passes away like he did RIP George
