George once said, to make real money, you had to go out and tour and sing live which only a handful of artists are able to do. Another thing that separates George from many artists is that he writes, composes and arranges all of his songs himself. Oh how we miss him.
Touring was always where the money was. It’s amazing how tickets were $20-30 years back and now they are insane. I get inflation but when Live Nation and Ticketmaster are pulling record profits, that’s a problem.
