Netflix are adapting it into a new film, apparently. The aliens in the Duniverse are the worms? Other than that I can't think of any, unless they're in Brian and Kevin's McDooniverse.
There's "theory" videos that "aliens" are there If you only read Dune no. It depends how "far" we go into the duneverse OH you mean the Vorbinski thing - yes I came across that. But no updates as far as I know. George hasn't spoken on it ... weird. I will do a video eventually. PS I think the aliens are even in the "canonical" books but it is ... sketchy
