I hear a male and female voice during parts of the chorus singing parallel to the melody of the main vocal. You can hear them come in at 0:54. I think the male voice is actually George on a layered track. Then I only hear the male voice when the pre-chorus begins at 1:49 'The clouds roll back and the waters part...the sun starts shinin' in my heart....' The backup/harmony is just holding that same note while the main vocal (George) is singing the melody. Then you can hear the female voice come back in for the second chorus at 2:07 (Also, the more I listen, the more I believe that's George singing the male harmony track.)
