My cousin recently lost her battle with cancer, and way too young, too. When she got sick this song kind of became her anthem; she always had an optimistic outlook to things, and she'd quote it frequently, "I ain't here for a long time, I'm here for a good time." She was such a lively, spirited person who could make anyone smile and she would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. I always think of her when I hear this song. Here's to you, Janine! Fly high.

I came across you on this very comment section of George strait.his music have saved so many people from the trauma and difficult times in their lives and not just that he is a great singer but also an influential man who sing from the heart ❤ My father was a great fan of George strait...he bought so many tickets and have been on several concerts. Anyone else notice lately his songs have been about not being around much longer? Kinda makes you wonder what he knows and we don't. Either way, alive or in death, George Strait is a legend and one of the greatest country music artist to ever walk and will always be remembered for that. He is one of the reasons why we still enjoy country music today, he was a huge impact on a lot of current artist. God bless'em! Long live the King!
