"Run" was released to radio six months before this concert at the Astrodome.
It was written by Anthony Smith, Tony Lane and was recorded as the second track on "The Road Less Traveled" album. It is apparently, also a favorite of Taylor Swift.

This recording is property of George Strait and MCA Records. If either party would like this video removed, please let me know.

Ol George keeps it simple. No half naked chicks shakin behind him, no sound effects or laser light shows going on. He doesn’t need any distractions. He’s got the talent. I’ve been a fan since the early 80’s and he’s still the best.

12 people couldn't find a suitcase or an old brown paper sack. They improvised and got it in the back of the old halftone shortbed ford that his uncle bought new in '64. With Daddy Gene's help, he got goin on the road feeling like a hero again from his earlier days in life. But God wont cut that path across the blue sky until he truly believes that what he's doing is right.
