He was honestly not a good military commander. I wouldn't say "single handedly", and I don't think any historian would claim that. Obviously shane is comedian, so it's not a big deal. But there's thousands of factors that contribute to the US victory over the British empire
@DylanHabibi of course he didn't actually single handedly defeat them but he is probably the one person that was irreplaceable. Maybe someone else could have taken his spot in history and lead the defeat of tje British but that's far from a guarantee. All of the other soldiers and generals could have probably been replaced and the British would have still been defeated.
@@menwithven8114 I completely agree that he was an irreplaceable part of the American revolution and the origin of the United states. In that sense, if that's what you mean by single handedly than I totally agree. I will say that I believe george Washington's biggest accomplishments were politically and socially. By no means undermining his military achievements, I just believe his other achievements were greater in influence and effect
