Thank you for your comments. In Georg de la Tour's paintings, referring to the Magdelene series(3), if one looks at the skulls, we see past, present and future. I focused on the full painting. She is carrying Jesus's child and in deep thought regarding the future of mankind. The awarness of the artist, portrayed in the painting. makes me believe, he was a visionary ,as well. Candles and mirrors are common in the occult practice. She was a seer, as was Jesus. Best regards. P
