Gsp avenged his only 2 losses of his career. to Serra and Hughes. in fact he won back his UFC belt from the Guy that took it from him serra.. GSP is UFC 's p4p Best Technical fighter EVer.
GSP is the man. He's getting better every single fight, and he's an absolute professional. Humble and self-aware, he really does what he does for the fans. And like I said, you see fighters like Anderson Silva and Minotauro Nogueria - they've hit their peak. Georges St. Pierre is still improving with EVERY FIGHT. Looking forward to seeing him beat Royce Gracie and Anderson Silvas record of Longest UFC Winning Streak.
this guy puts on such an awesome show, he messed up the first time against sierra.. but he devastated him the second time, and he didnt let that first loss get to him at all.. great fighter, hes got class
St. Pierre is a class act and a true role model of what a professional athlete should be. When in the public eye he is always respectful, self-defacing and humble. He has elevated this sport and should serve as an example to other athletes.
Love the part about telling the other guy he's stronger and walking away from trouble. It shows his strong character and his confidence. He doesn't get startled or nervous, he's confident and not cocky. Great guy, great attitude and great roll model. Alpha Male FTW!

gsp was 12 in 1993 when first ufc was shown 11 12 1993. in fact when he saw steve jennum win UFC 3 tournament. . it was one of gsp s many inspirations to join UFC
How can anyone call GSP a cheat. He is such a classy humble man and a great champion to takes pride in what he does. Really good interview, all the right questions were asked.
George St. Pierre is a true true role model for young MMA fans/fighters to look up to... -Humble -Honest -Legit and obviously a good, successful fighter what more could you want?
gsp is brilliant, he is a real classy guy. The way he talks about Royce is the way I and many other kids see GSP now, he is very inspiring, a great role model.
gsp is probrably one of the best fighters in the UFC and deserves to be welterweight due to the fact that hes down to earth and is very nice. good person.., GSP!
i wont lie GSP is my role model, for someone so young to be so wise, so respectful, so humble, all ill say is his parents did something right cause lets face it, his mindset is something alot of people want and few people achieve, all due respect to GSP hes awesome. For any british fans of him all ill say is hes like ace rimmer you just wana go "what a guy"
What an amazing Human being , I aspire to be a great person and carry myself the way GSP does . I love MMA and respect anyone who puts themselves out there and fights but my favorites are Fedor , GSP , Anderson Silva and Machida because not only are they all great but they're all so humble and treat others with respect!!
i dont know much about MMA but i wouldnt say anyone can beat anyone. I'm sure there are different levels of fighter in mma just as there are in boxing. Theyre all pros but still different levels. People can defintely pad their record. Great video, GSP seems like one of the nicest people in any sport.
people have talked about it.. i think bas rutten is one of the people that did. He said that any top fighter in the UFC would beat him in a UFC match, just because of how much the sport has changed and evolved, and because of rules/regulations. But he did say that if Bruce had time to adapt and train like the new fighters have, he would be great.
Ground game. He is a olympic calibre wrestler after a few years training. His stand is up ace although he dont really have KO power, he knows he can get caught if standing with an opponent like against Serra so he takes it to the ground and grinds out a 5 round decision.
Bad English and hesitations side, i get chills when i see him in interviews, he might well be the classiest fighter in MMA, and has the right kind of attitude, unlike, say, overeem, who got injured in some bar brawl for example Heck, in a sport where you see people magically take 30 lbs/year, he gets 10, and says no it's not anormal, he's on track to gain it the healthy way. It's all these little details adding up together, that makes me really like to hear him in itnerviews and see him train
He might have had a rough start, I think, depending on when he started (Early UFC gave alot of advantage to grapplers because no one had to deal with it that much). But hte thing about Bruce Lee is he quickly adapts. He incorporates what works for any situation. Thing is though he trained for practical, not sport or rules. So even if he lived and it was in his time, there's no telling if he would have participated.
I'm not really sure how the GSP/Alves fight will go. I pick St. Pierre to win, but Alves is a monster, you can't look past him. He's improved alot since his early days in the ufc, I think without a doubt he and St. Pierre are the top 2 welterweights in the world right now, and possibly ufc history. But as for GSP vs. Silva, I don't know about that, I think Silva would be too much for St. Pierre, but I still would love to see it.

It was driving me nuts that people actually believed Thiago Alves would win....I predicted it before the fight started it would be a repeat of the Penn fight....Technique wins the fight! Georges picked him a part just like the Penn fight just feeding him jabs moving around so much he couldn't hit him....Perfection!!! Amazing fighter!!!!
Actually, he did fight Koscheck in UFC 74 (august 25, 2007), as well as his welterweight champion bout against Koscheck in UFC 124 (december 11, 2010). Georges won both fights by unanimous decision. When this was made ufc 124 hadn' t happened, so the only thing the guy got wrong was saying George Koscheck, instead of Josh Koscheck. Honest mistake =)
Man, GSP is my favourite fighter. Not necessarily because he is the best, not even because of the amount of respect he brings to the sport, but because he is mother fuckin Canadian! God damn man. No matter what trolls say about Canadians, no matter how much South Park makes fun of us, I'd never want to live anywhere else!

Bruce lee had a firm understanding of Ju-jitsu, I think with his speed he would have done well. Maybe not a world champ but def a big name in the sport.
