Rasta Maiden hotel is not at all good . Room has very bad smell , they don’t give you shower gel or lotion . Breakfast for vegetarians was 4 slices of cucumber and tomato . 2 slice of breads .you don’t give kettle in the room , it will be in common area . Only good thing in this hotel is location . Not worth the price . After seeing this vlog I booked this hotel and now I regret. Eleven inn Tiblisi is much better than this and price is also very good .
Diya thanks for the post! Quick question do you recommend self driving in Tbilisi & places around or going via a cab operator? Not from a driving comfort point of view but to see all the photographic places ?
Went to Georgia two weeks ago in a group above 60. The woman at the immigration counter was very rude accusing us that we have come for job there. We were on a holiday after working 30 plus years in service. In general they don't like Indian 😢
Thanks for the information. Could you also share more info on how did you go from Tablisi to Signagi along with the cost? Also, is Kazbegi another good destination there? How usually the intracity travel happens there in cost effective way?
Yes normal debit cards work. You have to make sure you have International transaction option on for your card. And some transaction fee is also charged every time you use ATM abroad
I actually didn’t note down the no for the local tours I took. I stayed in old Tbilisi, in Vakhtang Square there are lots of local Agents in road and they offer the tours
Hi Diya Thanks for the detailed video. Even I am planning to travel to Georgia and Azerbaijan. I am planning to take overnight train from Tbilsi to Baku? Is that ok? I have heard that travel b/w these 2 countries is often questioned more and there is lot scrutiny even though we have valid visa for both countries.
Hey, land border was closed between Georgia and Azerbaijan till 2023, and as far as I know it's still closed. Do check it once. Also, unless you have Armenia stamp on your passport, there won't be any issue in Azerbaijan in immigration .
I have been trying to apply for Visa but when uploading Passport Photo as per the given specifications still getting following error "Photo is not complaint to ICAO standard. Please upload another photo. Please check: 1: Falling outside the image boundaries"
This error happened to me as well for a different country visa. I uploaded another photo without specs and it was working. Try this if adding with spec
Are you sure flight tickets are not mandatory?? All the visa agents are telling me that flight tickets and hotel bookings are mandatory for Georgia visa Please confirm
It's not mandatory, I hadn't added any flight bookings when applying. But if you add it gives better chance of approval , since Georgia has a high rejection rate
There’s Armenia , but as far as I know Azerbaijan and Armenia has conflict issues so if you travel to one country they might deny your entry to the other country . Other than that , Turkey is also nearby
Hey, very helpful video- i read on multiple forums about Indians getting deported even with an e-visa , until a few years back. Is that still the case? I have a B1 but my wife does'nt. Is it safer to get e-visas for both?
I personally haven’t heard from anyone getting deported. If you have your evisa , just keep funds and other documents with you if they ask in immigration
As georgia gives multiple entry visa so can we go to armenia from georgia and come back to georgia after 3-4 days because there is no direct flights from armenia to india as i have already visited Azerbaijan so is it good to coup armenia with georgia ??
@@WanderWithDiya vo aapka airport par nhi liya hoga mai uskay liya nhi bol raha aapko Mai to aapko visa apply kartay time jo documents Lagatay hai uskay liya bol raha hu madam
Hello, i am planning to go with my family 3 people. Can we book all at once or should it be seperately done? Also my kid is 3 years and dont have the bank account. Is it ok?
Are you talking about tickets? You can book together And no need for bank statement for kids, if they ask in immigration only your bank account statement will work
Nice vlog Diya. Georgia is a beautiful country with breathtaking views and lovely people . Been there twice and can’t wait to visit again ! Subscribed 😀
For now the road crossing is closed, otherwise it was a good ovrrnight train trip. The only way out is by Air. There is news that they may open the closed border by June/July, but not sure. So take a plane instead. Good luck and happy vacation
In my case they asked for funds, and I had to show my bank account balance on phone since I didn't have any cash with me. They wasn't any issue with anyone on my flight though
We are planning to visit Azerbaijan and Georgia with our family. 4 couples ( 8 person) in the month of August. Is it the good to visit these countries in 10 to 12 days. And what will be the budget per person.
Yes August is a good time, I went in end of August myself , I was a little hot but it’s a good time. Both countries should be between 1.3-1.4 lakh per person approx(if you follow the same itinerary as mine)
Hey, I am planning my trip to Georgia and facing issue in payment while applying for e-visa, have you faced any payment issue and if yes, how you resolved ? Kindly help. thank you.
Normally I am a really fast speaker, but will try to speak slower in videos 😅 You can turn on the subtitles too for any part, if you couldn't understand
Great informative video !! Can you please also make similar video on Azarbaijaan? We are planning for the same trip only (Georgia + Azarbaijaan) from India? Also, can we book the flights and hotels well before getting visa?
Sure, I will do a Azerbaijan detailed video super soon! Also you can book tickets before visa, but since visa is approved within 4-5 days for both countries, I would suggest get the visa before tickts
I already have a visa which is expiring in March end. I am planning to travel around mid March. Please let me know how much USD should i carry for 5-6 days excluding hotels and flights
