@meANDzo40 LOL! Not even close. This facility eats Nebraska's for lunch. They didn't even show the locker rooms and the locker room lounge, nor did they show the coach's war room. This facility has better training, video editing, hydrotherapy, coache's meeting rooms and team meeting rooms. This facility has 8 separate team meeting rooms to Nebraska's 1 and 3 separate staff meeting rooms, and that still doesn't include the war room. The Larry Munson trophy room was also not shown.
Now if this translates into WINS WINS WINS then it was money well spent, well not really but its called keeping up with the Jones , or Vols, Gators , Teagles, Tide and Tigers, Rebels, Cocks, . . . Where do they keep the arrested players who do hit and runs on Ga 10 Loop ? and where do the scooters go, and are those spa pools also used as a baptistry ? ? ?
no offense but georgia is number 5 right now and wvu is number 8 and you beat two shit teams, i know what you are thinking internet warrior, "well georgia played buffalo and fau!" yeah well we also beat missouri who should be in the top 25.
The last time a vehicle with as GT tag was spotted in South Georgia, Bobby Dodd was hired that year. I don't they make GT tags in the USA anymore. They are all manufactured and sold in China, Korea and Japan, but I hear India is trying to break in to the market.
UGA must have had some people from Georgia Tech come and help them out with the computer technology end of this. The bubba's I see riding around south Georgia in their 4 wheel drive Chevys with the "Go Dawgs" bumper stickers can't even find Athens on a map.
and yall got what? ok i'll give it to yall for inventing the toothbrush and tooth paste. If it were invented anywhere else it would been a teeth brush and teeth paste.
Just another example of the Bulldog Nation's false image of themselves. As of this writing, your coach (Richt) ranks seventh in the SEC in pay, your assistant coaches rank at the bottom of the SEC in compensation, and you don't even have an indoor practice facility (even Ole' Miss does). Your expectation is to be a perennial SEC conference power and you can't understand why you're not. This vision you have of yourselves is reflected in the part of the video with the Space Shuttle launch. That part gets funnier every time I watch it. The University of Georgia has never had one single astronaut Nada, Zero, Zilch !!!!! Georgia Tech however has had FOURTEEN. (Among them, John Young (class of '52) walked on the moon and Richard Truly (Class of '59) once served as NASA's Director). Once again, an example of UGA aspiring to be something they're not.
That really is one of the most awesome weight rooms I've ever seen. Too bad they only exist in RU-vid videos of American colleges and are nowhere to be found in Europe. We're stuck with gyms filled with TechnoGym machines, not Hammer Strength racks, Olympic platforms and Eleiko plates.
Really, what is the difference between Oregon players getting a ton of free Nike shoes, shirts, shorts etc because Phil Knight is their booster. Or Nebraska players getting iPads, Okie St players getting tons of perks (everything) from T Boone Pickens, Georgia players getting Mac Books and on and on, versus a booster buying laptops or clothes or food etc for players at a school that doesn't have all of these insanely fancy facilities? "Just sayin", as most would say these days.
@dhollins UGA had the #23 defense in the nation last year and that was in the first season with a new DC that switched to a 3-4 defense... The dawgs had a 290 pound nose tackle and most of the players said they didn't grasp the playbook. Year two is going to be much different just wait
Props to the IT guys, this looks awesome and I'm sure it'll impress young recruits. But-- uhm- are our friends in Athens posting this because they don't have crystal footballs? Good luck to the 'Dawgs, but I'd quit showing off the bling and just get it done between the hedges. I assume this is geared to young high school players. That being said, Go 'Dawgs!
Wow, that looks amazing. No wonder the Dream Team has been so eager to commit. And we're still one of the most profitable programs in the nation year-in, year-out.
I saw a more current video (2017?) in which the enrollees were getting Dell laptops. I suppose with Smart coming in, the Apple gear was jettisoned - unless it failed earlier. (In my limited experience, Apple has had problems serving an enterprise-wide role.) Would love a similar tour of the West End Zone facility, and the plans for the new expansion (new weight room ++).
as of Halloween 2015, none of the football coaches at Georgia deserve such nice facilities. Starting with Richt and Pruitt, they need to be in the outhouse.
7:37 come on clearly he was tired of coming up with things to say. Ya someone is going to yell something out the window. ''Hey i'm going to jack in the box anyone want to come with me?'' or ''that was a bad pass do it again''. geez
You know what Georgia? We will let you rent the 2011 National Championship crystal football from us if you ask nicely. It's not like we are gonna miss it. I mean hell, we got 16 more we could use... Roll Tide!!!
kills me man - no matter how much i love uga and they are a top level program everytime I see stuff like this or other things highlighting uga I cant help but think "thats nice but you still aint fricken bama"- it hurts - maybe one day but it will take a decade and 2-3 nattys to even feel remotely like what it feels like to be a bama fan even tho 2-3 nattys would only be half of what bama has in around a decade smdh
