Who would've thought? Women love scents that actually smell good as opposed to artistic challenging conversation starter fragrances. Hmmm, who would've thought? lol Teasing. This was entertaining.
The Anti-frag queen her self has returned! Lol but I dig her point of view on this it can teach a lot of us a lesson. Just because 20 fragrance reviewers say something is amazing and you need to buy it now doesn't mean you will like it. We all gotta have different flavors.
This made me genuinely laugh out loud. You two are just screen magic. Georgia is adorable and a good no-nonsense Northern lass. Top marks. Keep these coming!
George, I know you had some health issues last year, but you look so much better overall now. It's clear you're taking better care of yourself. Your skin looks clearer, and your face is leaner. Hope you continue the uptrend!
This is like the fragrance equivalent of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”. We can call it “The British Perfume Massacre”…and the villain? Leatherfrag. Your videos are unsurpassed, George. You’re freakin brilliant, and we love you. 🤘
This proves what we've already known in the fragrance community; If you wear fragrances ONLY to garner positive attention (compliments, attention from women, etc) then please don't waste your time and money with niche. Buy a popular designer intended for that time of year (Stronger With You Intensely for winter and autumn, D&G light blue intense for summer etc) and you'll get more compliments than you'll ever get wearing any 300+ dollar fragrance. If you're interested in perfumery, like the interesting smells and spend some time learning about notes and accords, then (expensive) niche MIGHT be for you.
I blind bought eau de merveille last year on your recommendation, and I couldn't be happier and last summer I couldn't stop wearing it, I went through a quarter of the bottle, thanks for the good recommendations!
I have fallen in love with Burlington 1819. It smells beautiful in the opening and changes so much in the dry down. The silage too, absolutely gorgeous fragrance.
I love watching when fragrance reviewers bring on their female counterparts to review/rate their fragrances! It's so hilarious when they give their 100% honest opinion (brutal as it may be) and reviewers like George loses it with so much frustration (all in good fun). Just saw another reviewer (Simply Fragrances) and his wife gave ratings to his niche collections and it was hysterical! She simply destroyed most of his fragrances and the look on his face was priceless!! Fantastic video, George and hopefully we can have more of Georgia give her honest opinion.
This should be the format for all top 10 or recommendation videos moving forward. The reviewer makes a recommendation and it goes through intense peer review by someone with differing tastes.
I bought the eau des merveilles edt and I wasn't so much into it. My girlfriend also didn't like it for herself. I tried the Elixier or EDP version and I got in my head the words that you used to describe this fragrance. Brilliant
I was quite happy that Burlington1819 actually is your number one recommendation.. only for it to be scored so poorly.. i think if she got to the drydown and experienced how long the beautiful citrus opening lasts, that could have added atleast a halfpoint to its score. Thanks for the list video george even if it got massacred 😅
Hi George, if you like Burlington, I also recommend Nishane safran colognise. It is in the same style but lasts a bit longer. By the way, nice haircut 👍
Hey George fyi Burlington 1819 is easier to get in the US now (Neiman Marcus and online decanters) so if that was one of the things holding you back from making a review, I would LOVE your longer thoughts on the fragrance
I love videos with her! A lot of fun! Also please move those glasses somewhere. I keep trying to move my head to see the bottles...forgetting this is not in person. bottles keep hiding behind the huge glasses :)
2:31 same vibe, I wanted to try it since you hyped it last year and when I finally smelled it at the store the other day I was like "meh" 🤷♂freshy orangey that dissapreared within an hour, I didn´t got it. Greetings from Mexico :)
Can anyone give me a more affordable alternative for Tom Ford Beau De Jour? Not looking for a clone necessarily just a fragrance in the same style. Thank you
@@TheFragranceApprentice You're wonderful. Truly, appreciate your videos, and your style. And the Sunset Riot recommendation was fantastic, I adore it.
I totally agree about the Hermes and sunset riot I strongly dislike Hermes and sunset riot just isn’t for me… I won’t even talk about oranges and lemons
Her giving stronger with you intensely a 8 out of 10 is basically a 10 out 10... lbvvvssss... 200 bottle collection hands down most comp frag by ladies not even close!
I see why she dislikes Eau des Merveilles. I get a bitter almost cosmetic vibe in the dry down that I dislike. It's even more intense in the amber flanker of the same line. Not for me at all, and many people I know disliked it as well. It's one of those 50 50 fragrances which are usually either a love or a hate in the general population
I'm a bit of a frag head myself, and while I can definitely understand and appreciate the appeal of "challenging" frags, I can completely understand why the vast majority of non-frag-heads/the rest of the population wants nothing to do with a "challenging" frag. It's kind of dumb, if you think about it, and what's even more dumb is how the more niche and challenging a frag gets, the more expensive it is to acquire. Basically, you're paying for torture.
In all fairness to Georgia, you gave her quite a few duds to sniff. LOL! Still, Georgia--combined with your faceplants of disbelief--were priceless. Highly entertaining so say the least. Cheers!
Tbh I still follow male reviewers with more interest (because I'm more interested in fragrances than... Stuff), with the only exception of Andrea and Ashley, they are great for different reasons. 😁
