MAAB was trash for playing over other programs and out of turn, really made it hard for people who spent their money to see and hear those programs. Other than that GAMB got this battle imo but shout out to both GAMB and NOASB for the showcase of talent
Difference gamb went sounding like a college and noasb sounding like a typical all star band. Gamb can’t be denied but I think noasb let that battle against mmb went to they head

GAMB Won The Stands. They were just to musical here. The field was closer, BUT the “well executed ARRANGEMENTS,” on the field and in the stands were too much all night. GAMB was cooking and had it on they mind. Yes NOLA is POWERFUL, but were the arrangements enough to match GAMB? Nah GAMB won!

Nah. They were too focused on bullying the little bands. Granted they sounded good but it was also meh at the same time. I was under the stands at one point and wasn’t impressed. But when our side played, I felt the bass drums through the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom was under GAMB
Don't get me wrong. Gamb's quality (when they're on tempo) is A1, Other than that, they were really boring. Playing Charlie Chaplkin like circus songs and just stuff the crowd was not into. Hence why the other bands were playing over them with caters and songs. Their band had the perfect balance but not the songs for it. I wasn't fond of most of everybody's songs but Gamb's were definitely the most boring.

No.. Do Gamb have great quality sound? yes. most def.. But they were boring. Hence why the other bands were playing over them and cutting through with their drum section. I personally think Both bands were a bit too far on opposite ends. NOASB was too Ignorant trying to prove they have the most power, while Gamb was too boring trying to prove they can sound the best.

Which is why everyone was playing over them and cutting through them and he crowd was booing. I had a problem with lots of songs from everyone, But i can honestly say, Gamb's band sounded the best (When they were in tempo) but their songs were least liked.

Gamb-U definitely won. I wish they put out more sound but they clearly have a playing style that works wonders so why change it? NOASB sounds good but they giving me Whitehaven alumni vibes 😂🥴 just a lil sloppy at times & trumpets only heard on the screaming hangover
I really appreciate GAMB musicality. Especially for it to be summer band. Nobody is touching them there. NO was ok but their trumpets hanging over ever single song takes away from the over all enjoyment of the arrangments for me. GA for the win.
If you going arrangements Dallas won they played the better songs on the field and stand and I’m from New Orleans I was there them ppl get another 100-150 bodies they are a problem

Before Gamb, these band were all the same! Rap songs and powerful!! Gamb is exposing every band for what they are and with that making them grow up! Most of these bands sound the same every year, just a different song same sound. Gamb is a perfect example of leveling up. Volume cant help you againt masterpieces!

Truth be told NOASB got the field rounds, folk gave em that but depends on preferences but anytime GAMB gets in them Stands, it’s a whole different band fs & I can tell they wanted more 💯 but both bands sounded good

1 thing these bands be lacking is balance.. too much over blowing from the lower brass.. and not enough trumpet melody…. Besides hearing the trumpets hangover too hit high notes.. but good job to both bands..

This is great video but I gotta watch a couple other channels before I say who has more power because the audio seems to be unbalanced in favor of one and muffled for the other. May just be positioning of the mics tho. Prolly was the only spot available to set up equipment due to all the people on the field

I just like NOASB book better. GAMB sounds great as they have the last few years. Their 2nd and 3rd songs just wasn’t for that environment in my opinion and the "They not like us" arrangement is just too choppy for me
First off, not a fan of hangovers second if Summer band isn’t the time for loud and ignorant. When is? I can appreciate what they played, but I think it would be better in a showcase of just them not in a battle. It was like bringing your classical records to a hip-hop DJ battle.
Sometime or some day you will grow up and your band will be just as powerful, and discipline and versatile as Gamb. Until then...just keep listening to mumble band rap....lol
