This video is not about her affair this video is about her being interviewed to discuss why cases take so long to go to trial. You used the wrong terminology for the wrong video.
In addition to the many professional qualities other commenters here have mentioned, I was struck by the compassion Ms. Willis has for people: for the victims and families as well as for the defendants; for the prisoners living in poor jail conditions; for those in the system struggling with mental illness; even for the homeless folks living out on the streets. She certainly has a sharp brain and a warm heart. I am looking forward to watching her in the upcoming Trump-and-friends trial even more, having learned more about her and her work. Much respect!
Shame on the woman trying to fix the backlog her predecessors left her? Shame on the woman trying to secure funding to test dr*g and SA kits? Shame on the woman who's trying to crack down on gangs? Or are you mad bc a black woman indicted some ppl who tried to rig 11,000+ votes in their favor?
It sounds like this is a District Attorney who is doing the job. She knows how the system works, and can explain effectively the extenuating circumstances associated with some of the uncommon cases that exist. The District Attorney understands her role in enforcing the law in her county. Keep up the good work, District Attorney Willis!!!
@@sheliChip What's easy to see, is your spelling is incompetent and you cannot back up ANY of the MULTITUDE of insults and accusations you've been making about this woman. If you're that jealous, just get your undergrad, ho to law school, pass the bar exam, be VERY SUCCESSFUL in your work as an attorney and then you can run for Fulton County DA, and show us all how much better you can do that job.... I'll wait. Better get started. I'm 54, almost 55 and you've got a lot of work to do.
@randibgood You're the problem with Fulton County!! Worshipping corruption, supporting lies and inaccurate information, supporting based on race, gender and political affiliation even though the facts support opposite of the lies she spews!!!
In that case, every jail in the U.S. should be shut down. That’s impractical. Y’all think her actions pertaining to her relationship with the lead prosecutor was unethical, ok…but there is no need to take it further. Outside of that, cases she has prosecuted still remain valid. The only way they wouldn’t is if it could be proven her actions gave rise to the possibility that the defendants were falsely indicted. No evidence presented against Willis gives that.
@@Legallyhaitianits more than the relationship and that just ties in with everything else she has done wrong. She did not get approval of hiring wade, she did not submit reciepts of money's spent over $100 dollars, she paid the guy a salary 3x the amount over experienced attorneys. She got financial kickbacks from wade, going on vacations, wine and dine etc; she knew what she was doing by saying she only paid in cash so there would not be a paper trail of her being financially benefitting from wade. Last I know cc are the most widely used forms of payments and there are many money payments to another like venmo, cash app etc; doing this wade was able to file taxes and get reimbursed by the irs for the full amounts and most likely did not tell the irs this .
@@keli449 everything you’re naming surrounds her relationship with wade. In what way does that disadvantages Donald as a defendant? Remember that’s the main thing defense needs to prove. Defense is saying Wade and Willis spent over 20,000 on trips for two. Meaning the only amount they can “claim” Willis benefited from was around $10,000. And that’s not even in hard cash, but in “pleasurable experiences”. Willis is currently making $200,000 in her position. It just doesn’t make since for her to hire someone just so she can make a lil extra $10,000. Y’all can badger Willis for having a relationship on the low, but you cannot make that a crime. Yes it’s unethical. Shoot, petition to get her fired if y’all want. But to say she needs to be jailed or her past convictions released is just showing a clear misunderstanding of the law.
@@keli449She's a liar point blank and anyone who believes the lies that come out of her mouth!! You do not hear of the jail conditions being as horrible as Fulton County and where is the millions of dollars that have been alotted to Fani and the Sherrif for Fulton County jail?
Wow, this was so educational. I had to pull over and type this message. If you listen to the mainstream media, you would think she is failing in a sense. Thank you for educating us. You are Governor ready!
I'm not sure what you mean by the mainstream media? There are many different organisations from the 'traditional media' interested in covering her right now, given her role and the election interference RICO case that she is leading. Is this interview not from within the mainstream media? In general terms, it is the function of a free press to challenge and hold accountable publicly elected officials for their record, including their mistakes and failures, by asking tough, rigorous questions, giving them adequate opportunity to respond, and ensuring the factual content of their answers is truthful. These are functions I associate with news journalism, rather than the commentators and conspiracy theorists that seem to populate the non-traditional media. Journalism gets a bad press, excuse the pun, from the non-trads; and the public frequently seem to prefer opinion that suits with what they already believe to facts that may be inconvenient to them. Which is bad news for journalists trying to cover the news in a balanced and truthful way. This reporter seemed to be looking for a 'gotcha' moment at the beginning, but she was determined not to give him one. She's impressive, I think, although I see her from outside the US, where she would be unknown if it were not that she, as an humble DA, is taking on the former President, and her case looks to be strong. So there's a David-and-Goliath aspect to the case that gets emphasized, but not unduly so, I think. What she is doing is important and courageous.
😂😅😂😅 You know she has no checks, no bank account, etc. She pays for everything, mortgage, carnote, school fees, etc with cash. She probably picks up an envelope of cash every 2 weeks like normal people and civil servants do.
Very well informed she made everything clear so anybody listening to this understand the facts and how the judicial system works. Fascinating and frustrating.
This is far too common. There are hundreds from jaysix sitting in the DC jail since Jan 2021, NOT charged. The warden there is a real POS won’t allow healthcare, contacts with their attorneys & families etc! Even Congress members have attempted visits.
The major question is : Does Georgia provide adequate funding. The answer is clear : HELL NO ! And everyone of one of you know this AND WHY ! Why is this getting notoriety now ?
They do not want to fund a black DA who is going to show results and take away the crime narrative they use to scare people to vote for them. The commissioners have an axe to grind. They didn't care about these backlog cases until she took on trump and fast tracked his case. That's the simple reason.
Because this black woman is holding a wealthy white man accountable. And they are putting their foot in their mouth. One minute they get on tv and say democrats want to let criminals out but here in this interview she is being pressured about criminal having to stay incarcerated while awaiting trial. They are full of 💩.
Because Republicans wanted to blame Fani Willis for every issue in Fulton County because she brought charges against Trump and his codefendents. Otherwise they’d be fighting for all funding possible in their state.
@@sheliChip for upholding the law. What kind of stupid are you? Are you a criminal that enjoys breaking the law? If you are, I can understand your statement. Just don't break any laws in Ms. Willis' presense. She will come looking for you. And we all will be so much better off for that.
“Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive ". ~ Feb. 25, 2024 I hear last Friday Fani was sent a letter from DC requesting she come up, visit a little and "esssplain" herself on some of her tales we were hearing about in court last week. I believe the US Marshalls came down to give her the invitation in person as she had requested.
I am following your career and am very impressed with your work. I hope Georgia recognizes how fortunate they are!!!!to have you working for them. I recognize how fortunate the country is that you are defending our democracy and demonstrating that no one is above the law. Thank you!
DA Fani Willis is always knocking a home run. She is sharper than the sharpest tack. She is as beautiful as God intended for her. She’s articulate, knowledgeable, and always focused. Also, she dresses very nice.
She speaks like a woman that knows what she is talking about!! Go head Fani…do your job that your meant to do. I love it when someone has an answer to every question and can stand by it. Point blank, she is very sure of herself and impressive. Sounds like she has receipt’s for every question. This is a sad case of misinformation and someone who wanted to spread it. She knew clearly and confidently every case she was asked about.
@@sheliChipOh how dumb you are. Because one use their hands when speaking does not mean he or she is untruthful. There are people that only communicate with their hands so I guess you think they are lying. Many verbal people use hand movements unaware that they are using their own form of expression. Everyone use a form of untaught SIGN LANGUAGE. Your reason for that comment might be because she is doing a better job than you would think she should. Or you may have an experience with a few officers or the justice system.
My son first time locked up on a misdemeanor it took 5 days to get him out of Fulton County she is politically motivated she doesn’t care about the amount of deaths nor living conditions she is well coached and great at her word play and manipulation like most politicians
I just love this beautiful woman! Ladies we need you. She’s awesome and real. Thank you Mrs. Fani Willie stay strong and we have your back. Great job. 👊🏿🙂👍🏾💯🙏🏿
Powerful. Accused of favoring prosecuting Trump in spite of a huge backlog, she points out that backlog was HUGE, like, TITANIC, unbelievable... redicules ...but it's gone now, because folks worked hard. And now we have time for Trump.
What ???? All those unindicted people and she has time for Trump ???? I guess the White House thought she needed the extra day when they insisted that she move up the court date a day.
Because the white house and BIg Fani dont have a hidden agenda ? Maybe if she and her bf werent spending taxpayers money and going on several vacations at taxpayers expense those held over in jail could have seen their trial date. THey both lied under oath, misappropirated funds and both need to be disbarred and serve jail time !!! Period because they are NOT above the law. @@kathyeastman4101

I’ll be sure to ask her the next time I see her pulling over and frisking one of you toothless methheads in Atlanta traffic. Or when I notice her at a crosswalk guarding underprivileged kids. Read a book or two.
She is nothing but on point and just fierce in her confidence!!! Huge fan, and I have nothing but respect for her professionalism, integrity, and intelligence.
After listening to Fani Willis I think that she has a very difficult job with not enough resources . She’s doing a remarkable job with the available resources she has at hand. This country needs more people like her.
$11 Billion in excess funds, but Kemp isn't interested in improving conditions in any jail. Republicans would be happy to deport everyone arrested for any crime. Well except DUIs. Plenty of politicians have those

@@ezbreeze9762 Hi - I’m the reporter. What do you mean by this? In my view, I was simply trying to get basic answers to questions, and she answered them. I also thought it was important to post the entire interview because I thought she provided good context and perspective. Why do you think I posted the entire interview? I certainly didn’t do it because I looked great. I did it because I thought it was educational.
@@ReporterAndy You appeared to be biased, especially with the "question" about letting the Trump prosecution wait so some of the others can move forward. The country is on a precipice. @ReporterAndy thank you for your reporting and responses. For me, I was learning from the basic questions but I feel like there needed to be more knowledge based rebuttals to her answers. It did me as the viewer a slight disservice bc we are rely on the reporter to go from basic to probing back to basic. The was a valuable interview. Tyfs
I think he’s missing some damn ears. He heard exactly what he said. You said he’s trying to humiliate the sister for no reason she have answered everything excellent to this creep my opinion.❤❤
If you’re actually listening to this interview, you would be able to witness her intelligence and how WELL QUALIFIED she is. She is passionate about representing her county and the community. She should not be defined by the current hearings which are irrelevant to the reason she has issued indictments for alleged crimes committed. We are losing focus on what the REAL concern should be.

@@Sm-cd9lsyour reply is pathetic. She’s wrongfully trying to prosecute Trump for personal reasons. The reason she refuses to back off TRUMP, is because she announced in her campaign that if elected, she would go after Trump and prosecute him himself to the fullest extent possible. So you’re telling me she honest and cares about justice? She’s carrying a vendetta for Trump. The reason she’s in the position she’s in now is simply because BOTH herself and wade LIED under oath. She sounds like a biden, the numbers are wrong. Pardon me but, to me she’s just a liar. She has NO ethics. As an attorney, she’s not too intelligent. If she had any type of intelligence, she wouldn’t have lied under oath her secret relationship. The truth be known, she thinks both of them shouldn’t even be in court because of her position. Typical democrat. She’s SOO arrogant. She may even get off , because democrats have ties with the judge. They will use , find them both innocent or we will take you down. I most definitely respect reporters however, this reporter definitely had his interview backfire everything that she said was quite in-depth. She proved her knowledge, she proved the structure and she proved why she is qualified to be the district attorney of Fulton County. This reported definitely needs to go back to journalism 101 because he tried to trap her in every sense of the word and she literally broke him down and the system that she’s working in to build him back up to prove to him that she knows what she’s doing and that she is well equipped and qualified to do the job definitely a front runner. She needs to be an attorney general for the state but this reporter definitely needs to go back and talk to his supervisor about reassignment because his interview skills are horrible, those commissioners all need to be reassigned. All I know is that Donald Trump better watch out because at the end of the day prosecution is headed your way.
You do know that she HAD NO FACTS before she attempted to Persecute this Man right? I mean what he Heck are you even talking about? She knew things BEFORE she knew things...? You MAKE NO SENSE!

Hi - I am the reporter. Why is asking basic questions being incompetent? I posted the entire interview to be transparent. I found out today that the DA office didn’t want me to do this. I posted it because I thought she had him a lot of great perspective to add that I couldn’t fit in the story. The DA actually thanked me for the interview at the end. Did you watch until the end? I thought I was respectful.
@@ReporterAndy the reason is because you took the information of the commissioner hook line and sinker instead of verifying those information from publicly available information as mentioned by the DA. For instance you could have compared before FW and after she took office so you get a perspective of her performance. You could have provided context on what she might have done right , wrong, or needs improvement. Bottom line a good journalist is thorough in understanding both sides of the aisle, meaning the commissioners perspective and the DA perspective based on research data before plunging into that interview.

I don't think beauty is part of the job specification, and so post-holders should not be evaluated on that criterion. Do we hear male DAs complemented as handsome? I suspect that would sound odd. She does present herself in a very appropriate and effective way that inspires confidence in her professional competence. She seems to have energy and drive, but at 52, I suspect she doesn't particularly want to be thought a 'young lady'. She is experienced, and in her prime. It's important that elected public officials are challenged and held accountable for their record; but I agree that anyone seeking to criticise her had better have done their homework, because she knows her office inside and out, and she also knows about them too! She's very impressive, and very authentic; and I particularly appreciate that she understands that compassion is a necessary part of justice.
This woman is so knowledgeable and clear on her facts. The interviewer wanted so badly to find a place of unknowing for her. He couldn't. Cuddos to the DA of Fulton County and everyone working diligently in the Criminal Justice System.

Her and her team done the work. The right wing can't beat her at the polls, so they need to do a hit job on her and her office, but the people see right through their bs.
I'm glad you're addressing this, D.A. Willis. Thanks, ANF, for doing this interview. I'm especially pleased that you're addressing the roller coaster of 'competency' by medication ( stabilization), re- confined in jail, and no longer medicated or staffed appropriately, resulting in another psychotic break. Which gets them put back into forensics! You'd think that w/ an 11 billion dollar surplus, the State of Ga could fix this.
