I agree with Paul's assessment. Don't expect to come out of this course with the ability to make money in the market. However, it is a great course to improve your Python skills, and not as difficult as some other OMSCS programming courses. I recommend this course early in the program to ensure Python proficiency and then try to tack some of the more difficult courses such as AI and RL.
Hey Paul, I took SDP with you last semester and again came to your guides before picking classes. Everything in this video is pretty accurate to my experience in ML4T so far. They made a recent change where exams are 22 multi-choice questions with one hour to do.
Great video, thanks for sharing! I'm considering taking this course next semester. I have no machine learning experience other than the ML on Clamp project in IIS. 😄
