Yep, it's exactly what every homeless CHILD MOTHER FATHER AUNT UNCLE GRANDPA GRANDMAW ANYONE HOMELESS NEEDS .I WISH I COULD BUY 1 FOR EVEYONE IN MY HOME STATE TX BC IF I COULD I WOULD .
@@Txshanell I am sorry, that you consider my remark as hateful. That was truly not my intention and I am very sorry that I have offended with those, maybe not so thoughtful words of mine. But I will explain to you, what I mean. I believe, the only solution is housing and integration for every homeless person and not a coat, what gives this person some kind of comfort, but think about it! Is with this coat the problem of homelessness solved? How long does it take, until the coat hase been stolen from a homeless person, living in the streets! And what is the point of this coat? Can it replace a home and safety? If you would use the money for a tiny house instead of a high-tech coat, would this not be more helpful for the person? The other thing is, every person, who is wearing this coat is immediatly recongnized as a homeless person! I wouldn't wear this! (Believe me, I am sure not belong to the well off- society). So, Lindsey-Shanell, I am very grateful, that you wrote these honest and sincire words, to tell me, your feelings. So I can explain, how I was misunderstood. Now, at least, I want to tell you, that I respect every person in hardship, thats why I reject this ridiculus coat and I wish, there would be a true and sincire project to take care of the homeless on the long term.
I had a similar thought when it came to cold weather and tbh I'm glad she did it. Also I saw dog beds are like meant to be kept dry so even in the rain they won't get soaked I wanted to make bigger blankets but this idea is way better you can take it everywhere
Might seem like a small thing but it's worth your life when your out in the cold at night...good luck to her and the people that will receive these....superb effort to help says alot about the hear n soul she carries
I would have thought opening abandoned buildings for homeless to shelter in would have been a lot better. The delta coat isnt exactly helping the homless get off the streets, is it. Just helping them be a bit more comfortable. I would have thought the homeless would prefer a shelter to escape the weather and food more than a coat.
@@ekanang7550 the amount of homeless people and displaced individuals in general outweighs the amount of shelters that are present as of now, this invention of hers serves as a stop-gap for this situation. i love how the internet truly reveals everyone's true character, thanks for showing everyone that you're a)pretty damn stupid, and b) probably a pretty nasty and jealous individual
Her invention is great. Regards to the homeless, can we collectively come up with an idea, such as free rehabilitation resources and homes, to get them off the street? Just pondering...🤔
@Kate Simpson there are lots of jobs. Yes. But most of them require certification or a degree, at least. In their case, it's almost impossible for them to be hired.
@Kate Simpson i can't argue with that cause i feel that it's true. Where I'm coming from is that it's getting competitive and even entry level jobs require more than job experiences.
that is awesome, its currently my 6th winter homeless. this would have made the previous winters infinitely more comfortable! 🙏 hope to see it actually produced one day
Someone should invent a jacket that attaches to the ground securely. It should seal up and be strong enough to resist weather. It could be a jacket that is roomy enough to walk around inside of and even lay down in while it stays upright. Perhaps it could have power so that it could be heated and cooled. Boy if you could hook it up to plumbing it would be the perfect jacket for all occasions.
Homeless people wont use it...too reflective and blindingly bright, attracts attention, and homeless people dont want that. Plus, homeless people lay down many times throughout the day, they arent going to take the time to blow that thing up every time that they lay down, or at all. Most of these jackets will end up in the garbage or being used for something that they werent intended for...a massive waste of money.
"If machines produce everything we need, the outcome will depend on how things are distributed. Everyone can enjoy a life of luxurious leisure if the machine-produced wealth is shared, or most people can end up miserably poor if the machine-owners successfully lobby against wealth redistribution. So far, the trend seems to be toward the second option, with technology driving ever-increasing inequality." I think and i know that housing the homeless would be an most appropriate answers. Then a roll- up.Type of jacket for them to lay around in.Some people allways trying to take the most cheapest way out to take care of the homeless. And you rewarding her for a Screw them type of jacket.Be for real PLEASE.
You are looking at this ass backwards. In a time where our politicians have failed the poor, destitute and homeless, this woman has found a way that is affordable for non-profit organizations to be able to do what they can. It's not like if she hadn't invented this they would have housed and fed the homeless, without her invention, these people would still be just as homeless and without any kind of comfort provided by her invention.
Another Screw up type of idea. The homeless needs a roof over their heads. What would they need with a weather proof type jacket. When a place to live can do much, much, much more.
I agree, but the roof over your head as homeless person would be hard to get, and you would be able to get under bus stop roofs. But the jacket is actually smart, it makes you very warm but it can be a bed too.
@@deamerican49352 Been there done all that.I would prefer a Warm place to live when the cold is unbearable. And when it is so hot i can be out of the Scarching 🌞.
