Tech fan here. Just thankful we could win a game despite being horrible in key moments (not counting the last TD of course). UNC seems to be just good enough keep the score close when losing to us. Our record against the Heels is unbelievable. I don't know what to say other than, "Go Jackets!"
Defense is just awful…again. Busted coverages, missed tackles, poor angles, you name it, they do it. Too bad because if Tech have just a mediocre defense,they’d be a top 25 team.
Anyone complaining about the defense doesn’t know ball. The offense stalled and got conservative on too many drives and that put the defense in tough spots. Special teams and our offense being conservative/predictable was the only thing that kept this game close.
@@sethmartin1248 If you think that defense is what keeps us in games, makes me think you don’t watch them very often. The defense has been sub par for years. Johnson, Collins and now Key have had bad defenses. There was a reason Brent brought in Santucci.
By the way I agree that Carolina shot itself in the foot but the experts picked to lose by 21. No moral victories out of me but after how we got trampled by Ole Miss at our place we at least showed up for this game
To whoever does these highlights packages: could you rework it so you show third down plays? Especially those where the team has to punt? Otherwise it doesn't flow as telling the story of the game. Tech has the ball, scores a field goal ... and the next play, they have the ball again. What happened to give them the ball? You don't have to show every single play, but maybe the key third down that they had to punt, then we'd understand what was going on better.
I guess i should say thank god for Clemson to help give the Carolinas some hope. South Carolina lost in Bama because they shot themselves in the foot AS EXPECTED. Tar Heels look like the Panthers. Garbage on defense. Just think a replay is coming tomorrow as the Falcons will clobber the Panthers
He could potentially turn things around next year by firing Geoff Collins and getting a real defensive coordinator. Brian Kelly had a horrible season at Notre Dame one year and the very next year they were back (believe they brought in Mike Elko to be the DC).
Didn't catch today's game but was Marcus Allen shaken up on the play before tech scored the winning TD? If not that was a terrible effort. He did seem to be hobbling a bit tho
UNC lost by more points to JMU than the last 3 opponents combined (1 to Duke, 10 to Pitt, and 7 to GA Tech). The derailment of the Tar Heel season continues...
Forfeit the whole season. This is a complete disgrace and embarrassment.. 8 yards a carry. Mack Brown should go to jail for stealing along with the entire coaching staff.
