The fact that you have the Georgian visa does not guarantee entrance into the Georgian territory. You must have certain documents with you and answer simple questions at the Tbilisi International airport. So, in this video I addressed all likely questions and documents needed at the airport in Georgia.

So is this video geared primarily to students? I'm a U.S. citizen, planning to come to Georgia for 3 months, strictly as a tourist. I've done a lot of research and many have said the return ticket and travel insurance aren't necessary. HEY! Great video as always! Can you do one on life/citizens' reactions/mood in Tbilisi if Russia ends up invading the Ukraine .... would be of great interest!

Listen, I went to Georgia this morning and was deported on the same flight back to Dubai. I had booked hotels and activities, even paid them. They did not even look at the documents. We arrived with my friend and her kids. They took our passports and told us to stand on the side. They asked us NOTHING. Our skin determined our fate.

What will immigration ask those entering on the visa free entry (1 year) is a return or onward flight needed, or proof of funds? Or no questions just enter?
