Gerald Levert ( pronounced Ge-Rold, not Gerell ) was part of the legendary group Levert who had several hits before before Gerald went solo and had an equally successful solo career and also songwriting and producing. That is his father Eddie Levert , who is a member of the legendary group The O’Jays ,and there was also Gerald’s brother Sean Levert who also was in the group Levert. Sean Levert also passed unfortunately some years after his brother.
