Reason give on why I like Gerard Way so much: When he's talking into a camera, I feel like he's actually talking to me. Not a camera, not a large crowd, me as an individual. It's an amazing feeling.

He is the most precious human, he must me protected at all costs.

He's like an excited kid who really wants to explain his project but he's nervous because of the camera.

Gerard didn't talk about Zine's punk rock roots. Ok, I'll do it. Back in the day, at hardcore/punk shows, zines were a common thing. It was very DIY and punk rock. Usually, there was art in them, political information, upcoming shows, local artist's work. They were still common back in 2001-2003 in my local hard core scene. They were much bigger in the 90's and especially 80's.

i think one of my favorite things about gee is that he's literally the most creative person i've ever encountered. just hearing him talk about the zine, i can't even imagine all of the beautiful thoughts that go through this mans head. there's one part in the life on the murder scene video thing where mikey is talking about how gerard had a tendency to just spit out the craziest, most ingenious ideas, and ever since watching life on the murder scene, i can only focus on how much sheer creativity gerard actually HAS. it blows me away
