Ok now this video is so fucking important to me. This concert was 1 year and 4 months ago and I remember standing in the crowd, staring at Gerard as he talked about how he knew that some of his audience is transgender and how he supports it and so on. This very moment was when I decided to be honest with myself and my feelings and I came to peace with the fact that I'm transgender, came out to my family and I've been living my life the way I wanted ever since and I'm so happy and comfortable with myself. Thank you Gerard for motivating me to do this. Thank you so so so much.

I am crying. Today was Women's day and I am a feminist; female at birth, but today I was a boy ( I am genderfluid/ genderqueer) and it felt weird because only a couple of people know who I am. For a while I have been struggling with if I am non-binary or not. I know that I am Pansexual, but I have been struggling with my actual gender identity and if I truthfully have one. Because of this, and with Gerard's struggles in the past and just simply who Gerard is, he has been helping me without even knowing it. I still don't know who I am and I'm still scared to show who I am but just knowing that he is there and supports everyone that is different in their own special way helps.

Every time I watch a video of Gerard, my heart feels so full. I feel like, for once, I am loved and accepted, truly. I appreciate him so much and the way he cares about people so deeply. I wish I could thank him in person for everything he’s done and everything he’s always done for people.

She was actually outside building one with her kids, the "frozen fanatic" ones :D

this means so much. lately, i’ve been tempted to come out to my parents as non binary. although they are very supportive of the lgbtqia+, i don’t really know how they’d feel about me being nb. it’s stupid and probably an overreaction, but it scares me nonetheless. anyway, knowing i have gerard in my corner makes things so much easier in a way i can’t really explain. i really, really appreciate them and love them endlessly. edit: welp, just figured out today that i’m a trans male and not non binary. same story though.
