Another one of those overengineered pieces of engineering equipment that no one finds in any tool shop and never gets to be the ideal go to piece of mill holding device.......
This company has been in business for decades and their vises are widely used in Europe. Just because you’ve never seen them in the US doesn’t mean they’re not useful. As a machinist with 30 years of experience, I think a matched set of these could really be a big help in the job shop..
@@rexmundi8154 Oh, don't misunderstand me, I'm not from the USA but Australia, these vices are extremely well engineered I will admit, probably over engineered too much to do a simple job of holding a piece of work firmly and squarely. I personally use a 100mm grinding or screwless type vice for all my milling and it required some rework to make it behave.......the fact that the bottom nut constantly fell out of the slots and also off the screw did not make my temper behave........once I had redesigned that aspect it now works like a dream.
