Never heard this song until 2022 when it played over the closing credits of an episode of "Irma Vep". It grabbed me by the shoulders and shook the fuck out of me. It's a shame Status Quo never got much radio play in the U.S. I've got a lot of catching up to do.
Grew up from northern Ireland UK in the 70s as a kid likening the quo,, and can say my late gran liked as well, I was born 23rd May 1968,,add , I think my late gran would have liked this,,♥️🇬🇧 , RIP, gran , 1989,,!
Veel complimenten, respect en rock and roll, richard 🎸🎸🎸 ENGLISH: Thank you big time, Arno, for this fantastic upload with perfect quality images and Hi-Fi Stereo sound. The moment in the video when they do the trick by playing each other's guitars is very entertaining. That moment starts at timestamp 3:58. I was a kid of only 14 years old when I started collecting Status Quo records. Now I am 62 years old and my experience of The Quo has not changed a bit! With huge compliments, lots of respect and even more rock and roll, richard from The Netherlands (Holland) 🎸🎸🎸
Weren't they amazing though? Wow! I'm 54, and I only heard of Status Quo last night! Oh my god, I've missed out on all of their awesome songs for DECADES!!!
Saw QUO many times and never saw this song live, even though i was screaming for it. Great tune and very entertaining. Shows the bands proper musical abilities. Drum solo was unexpected and just top notch... Such a great band..
Simply fantastic! 4 Guitars; a drum and rock;n roll of the best! I wishded i where there...! I'm very sad 'bout Rick' s death! Best Wishes for 2022 and also best greetings from Germany
This song is beautifully crafted in time with four of the five band members. With matt ledley drums solo in the middle, then came back on too finish the song superb musicianship very entertaining!!
This song used to go down a bomb when we played it with Straight as Quo live, we couldn't swap the fingering positions like Quo did here though that's very special, never the less the song is awesome👍👍👍
@@goranl2588 Do you want to provoke me?? Everyone has their Favorites and mine is Matt Letley. That doesn't mean that I have anything against John Coghlan. I've been a Quo Fan for longer than you have been. Is that clear??
Seen them only once in Sydney about 10 years ago with Deep Purple. They blew Deep Purple of the stage, and I've always been a DP fan. Thumbs up from me for these guys.
