I've never heard of this young man before, but I hope to find more of him. His playing was full of fire and strength. The conductor wasn't named, but his handling of the orchestra was excellent, bringing out the depth of Liszt's music. My thanks to the recorder.
He has one of the best Chopin Op 25 nr 12 performances ever recorded. I sometimes think there must be an orchestra hidden in the recording but it's just an illusion (and a tad bit too much reverb). Too bad I have not been able to find it on YT. Found it on Google Play though.. and you can hear a nice 1 minute excerpt of it (with warts mistakes and all). play.google.com/store/music/album/Gergely_Boganyi_Chopin_F_Piano_Music?id=Bo6mhvpfbkdiivfprpsslnpfsfq
