I'm extremely surprised that your videos don't get more views. Each one has some of the best production quality I've seen in German language videos, and the material is taught in a very intuitive and digestible manner. Am I right that sometimes the compound is left out? Such as the phrase. Es freue mich, dass du da bist. I hear that on Podcasts and I don’t think there’s a darüber in there.

Absolutely! You can do this with constructions like ‚Ich freue mich‘ because as a statement that makes sense by itself. „Der Bericht handelt,“ doesnt make any sense as a standalone statement, so we need „Der Bericht handelt davon, dass …“. A good observation. Thanks for the comment.
