Recently, you can often see videos on which Russian fighters and helicopters flying at very low altitude. This low-flying maneuvers help them hide from radars and avoid attacks from Ukrainian anti aircraft systems.
But Ukraine now seems to have a solution to this problem, and its name is Flakpanzer Gepard! All-weather-capable German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG).

It seems they have a big impact in the current ukraine offence. There are some english media which claims their ukraine armee sources marked the importance of the gepard in the September success. I was not sure about their importance but i know that german military was NOT happy that they was removed years ago and now that they was given away.

BS . We have more advanced modern replacement of Anti Air , our New System called Viper . The Gepard are 20 years old but before we gave them away we upgraded them also with ROLAND Rockets and better Radar aswell as intelligent Norwegian ammunition . Its a great Weapon still . We will send 20 more within this Fall to Ukraine

@@rodrev_hiking6757 Switch on your brain once in a while! It is not about how modern the tanks are, but whether they can be used by Ukraine. And this also includes appropriate (fast!) training! The Wiesel 2 Ozelot has replaced the Gepard in Germany, yet many in the Bundeswehr are not happy that the Gepard has been phased out! The only one who writes BS is you!
