GERMAN GRILLPARTY: Part 3 - Meat | Steak Marinade Recipe
Today I'll hit you up with a German steak marinade recipe because why not? ;-) After all, this is how my family loves to marinade their pork cutlets in summer before they get charcoal grilled on our bbq. Therefore it is perfect for my how to BBQ like a German series! How do you love to marinade your meat? Do you even, or are you more a fan of buying pre-marinated meat from your local butcher or the ready-made packages from the grocery store? We like to mix both at our place, some stuff is always home-made and some is bought if we know the taste is still great. I hope you enjoy this episode. It literally involves a lot of beer haha. A good grillparty needs patience. Unfortunately, Germans are more likely to be in a rush. As soon as they arrive to my BBQ Parties, they are almost desperate to eat! So I do not invite Germans anymore if I am planing to cook large beef/pork pieces because they just can't relax and stop asking "how long does it takes?", "what do you have there?", "why are you doing that" etc etc. It takes them so many years to feel confident enough in order to chill dow and becoming able to enjoy the moment without guilty consciousness

The German Shwank in Germany had a red sauce marinade. Do u have the recipe for the red sauce or is there a difference?

Hi Jamie, I don't have the recipe at hand but I assume that the colouring as well as flavour comes mainly from sweet paprika powder and tomato paste. Something we love to use when marinating. 😊

@@EileensKitchenStories Thanks for the in. It was my favorite food in Germany of course the schnitzel was pretty awesome itself. I had one schnitzel that had a gravy on it with chopped Black Forest ham. It was the best schnitzel I had ever had. Thank you for your information and recipes bless you and your family
