🔰The military occupation of the Channel Islands by Nazi Germany lasted for most of the Second World War, from 30 June 1940 until liberation on 9 May 1945. The Bailiwick of Jersey and Bailiwick of Guernsey are two island countries and British Crown dependencies in the English Channel, near the coast of Normandy.

According to history, there were no defenders on the Channel Islands. For the sake of this video I added British troops defending the island. German Kriegsmarine troops storm the island with close air-support from the Luftwaffe. Enjoy the video.

Often German and especially Japenese Troops has never a chance in your video content. Often one American tank destroy all japenese soldier and not even one japenese soldier is able to kill a tank with anti tank weapons or something different to hunt them down

@@serykane Yes! Where are the Japanese suicide anti-tank teams, or at least lone attackers strapped with explosive charges? Many American tanks in the PTO were destroyed by these methods. A jap suicide attacker hiding in a spider hole awaiting a passing Sherman tank was a very real threat during many campaigns in the Pacific!

There is a TV series called Enemy at the Door from 1978. All about the channel islands during the occupation. Enjoyed the video.!

And after the occupation, just like 70% of France the channel Islanders mostly cooperated with the Germans. Even to the point of helping round up any Jewish inhabitants.
