I took my clothes (sich ausziehen) off for a shower (sich wäschen). After the shower I put on new clothes (sich anziehen) and sat down (sich setzen) and started combing (sich kämmen) myself. That's when I remembered (sich errinere an) I have to drive to my workout (sich bewegen). So I changed my clothes (sich umziehen). While driving, I forgot the route (sich verfahren) and caught a cold (sich erkälten) Mnemonics always help. Cheers.
sich waschen* (a instead of ä)/ sich erinnern* or sich erinnern an* The other ones are correct! :) But in Germany we won´t say "sich bewegen", if we want to go to a workout. We´ll rather say something like "Zum Sport gehen" or "Ins Fitnessstudio gehen" or even "Sport treiben".

"sich erinnern an" makes sense. It comes from "to go within yourself (to a certain point)". All of these reflexive elements make sense but sometimes it is not very obvious anymore.
Hallo Jenny, Vielen Dank. Nur eine Frage: Ist 'sitzen' weak verb order strong verb? Is 'gesessen' the past participle of 'sitzen' ? Maybe when verb used as reflective verb, it all change to weak verb? Sorry, I just mean to ask 1 question but it turn out to be a few :)

Auf Spanisch gibt es auch reflexive Verben, die meisten Verben, die auf Deutsch reflexiv sind, sind auch auf Spanisch. Als Spanisch meine Muttersprache ist, anstatt Englisch verwende ich sie für solche Themen gerne.

The verb "Setz" is used with "dich", means "sit yourself", but why the other verb "trink" without "dich"? If anyone has to sit "yourself", then he or she has to drink himself or herself too! youre not even teaching anything youre just saying some sentences and writing the english translations in brackets which does not help me to learn it at all. Teaching is different than just saying.
I think its better when you use all the exercise with ich und du. So that we can understand akkisativ or dativ because except ich and du all the other forms in akkisativ and dativ same. Like sie akktusativ und dativ sich. Whereas ich akkisativ and dativ mich and mir.

I was confused with these examples: Ich muss mich bewegen, SONST NEHME ICH ZU. SONST NEHME ICH ZU - how the english translation become OTHERWISE I'LL GAIN WEIGHT. Then, Setz dich und trink WAS. I thought something is ETWAS? warum WAS only? I thought WAS is WHAT 😭 HELP 😭

sitzen, saß gesessen und setzen ,setzte ,gesetzt Man kann auch sagen: Ich bin gesessen. Das Wortpaar sitzen/setzen ist sehr interessant. Das Verb setzen ist das Kausativ (Ursache) zum Verb sitzen. Ich setze mich und als Resultat sitze ich. Es gibt noch mehr von diesen Paaren: sinken/senken, liegen/legen, trinken/tränken, ersaufen/ersäufen, hängen/hängen, erschrecken/erschrecken, schmelzen/schmelzen, winden/wenden, zwingen/zwängen, dringen/drängen... Da sollte Jenny mal ein Video dazu machen.
