I Thad a question is as far as supporting ur channel in as far as you tube compensate s you I’m a driver and have been spending 10 Hours a night listening to ur channel on axis Allie’s just curious if this helps you I hope as I enjoy this
ye but normaly in a game of chance like xcom you have backup. if the soldier misses the 99% the sniper can take his 99% shot and if that misses too you still can throw a nade etc. or you put everything on one card hope the 99% hits ,then rage if it misses and lose the game. i will never understand the 99% xcom meme, i always think "yes your own fault"
Love your content. That loss with your fleet was definitely an anomaly and sucked! However, you got tunnel vision. You lost that fight and then immediately resigned yourself to losing everything. When things don't go to plan it is easy to fall into that trap, but you could have destroyer blocked him with the American destroyer to halt his fleet at sz13. Giving your British time to build up the appropriate defences. Dice based games are all about learning to adapt to the variance, don't let the variance rule your thinking. Keep up making the great content!
You had some amazingly bad luck but your biggest problem was putting resources into the pacific. You should always go pure KJF or KGF and when germany stupidly buys ships like that you needed to go full into KGF. You would have crushed him had you done that.
@@GreyshotProductions Not only did he build a fleet rd1, he built a sub rd2... AND.... YOU had survived the German NA attack with 2 transports.. Dude??? You over thought that, IMO.
In a KGF, is it wise to have both UK and US invest heavily in transports and troops? Fleet expensive and only needed to protect from other fleets. US needs to defend Hawaii and both just need to protect transports needed for a D-Day. The one supporting can contribute a battleship and destroyers, the amount depending on Germany's airpower. The one invading then can focus on transports, troops and planes, and maybe a carrier if needed. Could this save a boatload of cash? Would the UK be best suited for the invader role? UK will have to neclect India but US can focus on the Pacific after a few rounds of building a protection fleet. Note either could build fighters purely for a defensive role.
What I suspect happened was he bought the fleet PLANNING on placing it in the Baltic Sea but when he lost the naval battle against your UK fleet, he changed it to a Mediterranean placement
For the Russian first turn build I typically take a fighter, two infantry, two artillery. Its a little riskier, but i feel like it pays off in the long run. It still gives me an okay ground force on turn one, but that fighter is so useful for the rest of the game. The ability to attack hard, and then retreat that attack power behind the front lines is so important to russian success. I'm not a pro player by any means, I don't even know what league I'm in, lol. If you have any thoughts (positive or negative) about this strategy, I'd love to hear them!
100% my opening for Russia every time. I also retreat from Ukraine after the first roll no matter what because if you don't you're just feeding your tanks to the Germans. Buying that 3rd fighter makes all the difference in later rounds. Sometimes you can even get a 4th in the next 2 turns depending on how things go.
"you won out of sheer luck" !!! that actually made me kind of mad haha. You were specifically told that the odds were unlikely against his mediterranean fleet and yet you attacked anyway. That was a bad call. Sure the dice were excessively favorable to him but you never had good odds in the first place.
Japan not taking your India on turn one or even landing troops next to India for a turn 2 push is surprising. Especially considering how weakly defended it was. The Japan player wouldn't have even needed to buy bombers to succeed meaning they could have pretty easily adapted the India attack into their strategy.
In the UK Sea Zone, he probably lost all his service ships before your Russian sub went down. Remember your air power can't target subs w/o a destroyer
nice video - nothing like a bad roll to make you lose...also, in r5 japan should have attacked russia instead of india - 1inf 1tank + 6 planes vs 5 inf
Ranked matches are 1v1 but you can do custom games with up to 5 players. I’m currently playing a game against one of my best friends and his dad. Just like the good old days but now we are spread out across 3 separate states instead of in their kitchen!
Hi, what do you think of USSR stars with recruiting 2 Fighters + 1 Art on turn 1? Having a nice air force helps hit german weakspots without needing to leave tanks in the region.
But the odd thing is that then the transport would have been gone, but it wasn't. It must have come down to the cruiser and the sub and the sub miraculously won, lol.
@@GreyshotProductions I’m trying to do a sea lion. I have a carrier with 7 transports. He only put subs around UK. Can I attack without engaging the subs?
