German Shepherds are so patient and gentle with babies. Best babysitters in the biz.

Geez, I'm too old to be mushy. GSs are special dogs and a gift from God. Unselfish love and serious protection.

Beautiful dog and baby! My adult children grew up with German Shepherds and they were the best!!! So loving, gentle and protective. We never left them alone of course, but they never once showed the least bit of aggression toward them. This video is adorable!

I lived by a neighbor a long time ago, He brought home a puppy German shepherd. He never took care of it fed or watered it. But I did. That dog loved me so much , And I know he never would have hurt me but there was always that friends between us. I miss him so much and think about him quite often. Is German shepherds are the best.

Best dogs ever! They can sense the child is an off spring of their owner, that is why they act the way they do with children of their owners.

A bond for life precious. My daughter's dogs slept by her son's bed from 1st day home. They are great friends the baby is 2 now he gets to put food in his bowl he shares his chips love love love

Teach your kids from an early age NOT to jump on a dog's back or try to ride them. It may seem cute but it's not.

I agree. My brother’s boy tried to ride his cocker spaniel and it paralyzed the dog for awhile.
