I used to have an all black German shepherd named Malcolm. He was my baby and the most loyal and loving dog i have ever owned. He died last October of heart cancer.... We had to put him down and i still miss him so much my heart hearts...German shepherds are no doubt the world's best dogs
My grandma has a German Sheppard used to have two patsy and Chelsea but Chelsea dyed of old age she was patsy's mum. they are wonderful dogs,friendly fun to play with, they are gentle as can be.

German Shepherds are unlike any other type of dog. Mine is my best friend. It's unreal how smart they are. No one comes in my house with out my dogs OK. I love him to no end and I know he loves me the same.
BEST DAMN DOG IN THE WORLD, mine was potty trained in about 3 weeks after getting him. Very Smart, especially when he wants a treat. he knows how to work the family to get what he wants.

I'm 12 years old and my gsd is 11 I have grown up with him and he has never hurt me or any other child. My gsd is so protective a gorgeous and intelligent and he is 11 Years old but still going on like a 2 year old gsd... They are simply the best x

forgot to mention all 4 of my dogs were 4-9yrs old when I got them through different rescues. They had never been around alpacas yet they were still easily trained. Three of them had never been in a home but only took 2-3 days to house train. IMHO, the older ones are the easiest to train. The one I adopted at age 9 (she's 14 now and still working) is the best. So if you want a great dog with the least amount of work, adopt an older one from a rescue. Great shortcut to an awesome dog!
Im 15 years old, and in a few years im going into the United States Marine Corps. I've been wanting to become a Marine my whole life haha. Well when I get back, i would love to train and care for German Shepherds for a police K9 unit. These dogs are awesome, and I love how they look, their strength, and their intelligence.
I've let my mutt mixed shepard go at my arm for the past 7 years and she's never once broken my skin. These dogs have amazing control of their jaws and is a fantastic burglar deterrent, and our best friend.
I have had German Shepherd all my life, the best dogs ever. It's not the dog but the owner there is nothing wrong with if it bites. Love your dog, respect it and teach it to socialize and you will get a loving and sociable dog who will follow you no matter what.

I have a golden retriever...and he is the sweetest dog in the world..but i love the german shephard! look at them when they are at ease the have a cute face....but when they are feeling something's wrong, or they get pissed WOW the wolve is there, the same beauty as a siberian tiger!!!!
i have had my shepherd since he was 7 weeks old , he is now 7 yrs old he is the best dog !!!. I WOULD never choose another breed over a shepherd and when he was one year old i was walking him @ night and 2 dogs {pit bull,boxer} came after him he was on leash they were not . HE defended me as well as himself he had no bites however the other dogs did. i love my dog he is a great bread!!!.

i have a german shepard dog. he isnt fierce he is lovely, he had his back right leg amputated the other year and he is still amazing. people make out like german shepards are dangerous but they are great dogs! my german shepard (Guiness) he is so lovely and affectionate he loves all people and has never once growled at anybody he is the most amazing dog ever. dont be scared of them. :)

Selbst bei der Polizei, Grenzschutz usw. werden sie von anderen Rassen verdrängt (wegen andauernder Überzüchtung - Kreuzprobleme). Meine Grosseltern hatten auch einen, die treueste Seele die ich jemals erlebt habe. Er lies jeden ins Haus - aber raus - nee, nicht mit ihm! Greif ich vermisse dich noch heute (35 Jahre Trauer).
I think German Shepherds have a bad reputation. People think there these horrible dogs that attack people and are just mean. I have a white girl GSD call Roxy who is 2 months old and has not yet been properly trained and she is the most loving and protective dog you would ever want. She has never bit anyone and has never attacked any other animal. She is loyal, loving, protective, smart and stunning and i love her to bits!
i love german shepards so much they are the most beautifull and loyal dog there is i used to have one and we loved him so much he was called copper and he died 2 years ago, he got hit by a car and had to be put down because he was in way too much pain i miss him so much but i know he is in a much better place R.I.P copper
I have a german shepard mix (she's a shelter dog, we don't know what she's mixed with) but she's the sweetest thing ever and she would never bite anyone. :) I guess it just depends on how the dog was raised and stuff...

My german shepard gaurd dog cheef was great after a while all things must end. His vision and hearing started slipping and eventually he grew incapable of walking he we couldnt take the sounds of his crying from being in pain anymore so eventually we had to put him down. RIP cheef he lived to be 13 years old
How can u dislike this !!!!! the most loyal dog and one of the gentlest dogs in the world if you are dumb enough to make it angry you deserve what you get I hawe a six months old pup and I could not imagine being without her :D sory for bad english
Im getting my first German Shepherd puppy in a few months, I absolutely can't wait. Although my first dog, I have been around them my entire life, and have raised 2 of our family dogs (One being a Ridge Back cross Lab, Other being a Doberman cross Border Collie) and have done lots of SPCA work. Also living an active lifestyle, helps t have a dog that can keep up, and protect me when im out at night, which i do often.
Ohh I have a GSD and I love her I can leave my life in har paws and I know se will never leave me and I will NEVER let her go.... Im ready to give my life 4 her and she is ready to give hers 4 mine thats what true friendship is about........

Around june last year. i got a west german shepherd pure breed female. she is now about 9 and a half months old. she is very obediant, smart, but doesn't like strangers:)
my gsd (Staley) is 6 months old and is already really protective of me and my family, especially my 7 yo son. I was walking him the other day and this kid comes up from behind on a push scooter, scares me and Staley, Staley went towards him but I gave him his 'sit' command so he stopped. I also have a Border Collie (Maddy) 2 yo, and they are already best friends. 2 of the smartest dogs with the Poodle.

The first pic does not exactly make them look nice, but they really are! I am almost sure my dog is 1/2 german shepherd, and he is really the sweetest dog you have ever met. He adopted 2 orphaned chicks once!
