that depends of what type of games you like.I for example like simulators and i find it relaxing and fun driving a truck,train,racing a car or flying a plane while i drink a beer without having my licence revoked ;)
at the end of this vid there is a link click on it to see the settings it`s the same for euro truck sim.If it turns after 45degrees means that you have too much deadzone wich can be adjusted from game menu and Logitech profiler.Turn off force feedback they still have to improve that hope with Euro Truck Sim 2
as pilots fly simulators.From what i learned it`s much more difficult to drive the sim than in real world i know because i have some experience with real world small trucks
Yes, vibration, sequential gear shift, playstation buttons (triangle, square, circle, X, dpad) and gas/brake pedals. I bought it for about 120 euros. It survived numerous punishments as well XD

To those who think simulators are boring. I play 18 Wheels of steel American long haul for 5 years straight. I played MW2 for 2 months, I reached maximum level, I got bored. Let's not go in space,flight sims. Nuff said.
Not sure if you found the answer as it's been 2 days, but you push the stick down (as in push down with your palm, as if you're pushing it in to the desk) and then move it into what would be 6th gear. bottom right.
you can use x padder and set 2 keys for shifting because the G27 cant do sequentail mode like the G25 you can mod it but for all 6 gears to work youll have to keep moding just use xpadder i use A for shift up ans Z for shift down so what you do is set 2 keys as A and Z then click A and on the Shifter Shift up once then click Z and shift down the save it leave the xpadder open when you run the game and you can use your shifter insted of the paddles
nice driving, the only bit problem with this game, is the bad feeling of ' speed ', it feels always way to fast all. When you drive a real truck and do all the stuff, it's 60% slower all :)
@piromoretta Yeah, but I do drive quite slow in the Scania, but even so, the whole truck does roll a lot and making a tight turn makes the truck slide. Had to mod the game to get better traction. Can't wait to try the wheel on the upcoming Euro truck sim 2.
never had force gt but the first difference between them is the price wich in my opinion g27 is way better and beside you have a clutch and the shifter is detached means that you can put it wherever you want.I bought the g27 like 2years ago or more never had a problem and it works like new
you can use the shifter only sequential mode since trucks have more than 6 gears in few words GTS it`s not fully compatible with this wheel other than that everything works good
Um, if what he meant was "does a Berlin Paris trip takes about the same time as in reality" - well, no. Game time goes faster (so you burn fuel faster, etc) but you will go from one european capital city to the other in a matter of minutes.
i allready seen you setup some time ago and it would work nice with my home built flight simulator cockpit and yes it work also with this truck sim.Don`t rush to buy it cause in a month or two a new truck sim is comeing out it`s called "Euro Truck Simulator 2"
that is a LG TV 47inch you can see it on my flight sim vids on my channel it`s a pretty nice tv never had a problem HD it`s not cristal clear but it does the job
as i bought a 2000 euro flight instruments to play FSX wich is another Simulator just like this one.I love sim games like this one or racing sims like LFS,rFactor etc. ;)
beside driving a slow truck wich brought to your home most of the things you have;) i play LFS,GTR Evo and i would love to play Forza or gran turismo but i don`t have a console and never will buy one and i`m sorry if don`t like what i play

i belive it is since i have some experience my self with small trucks not big rigs but at least in simulators you can crash without worrying about insurance....lol
@MuffinGunnarGaming don`t mind others i play Flight Sim X and i spend few thousands euro to build my own home cockpit and i think that sim is awsome but that dose not mean i have to do it in real life too maybe that is the point i fly and drive with sim games simply because i can`t do that in real life
feel like the truck is drifting?! i have that problem too you have to be slow when makeing 900° turns or if going too fast and steer to fast the truck drifts away.There are some mods for that but never really tried one since i don`t really play this sim too much.I got use to this steering problem.I hope in the next truck sims they will fix that problem don`t worry the G27 it working good
I guess you then set the aspect ratio to display 1 to 1 pixel mapping ? As long as in windows you have it set to 1920 x 1080p and not some strange custom lower rez to compensate for overscan. Just make sure you have overscan turned off. As for the display doing 4:4:4 vs. 4:2:2 I dunno it depends on the model of TV and it's firmware.
@piromoretta do you like trucks and/or driving or is it your job and this is for training purposes (ie learn new routes etc). It looks very realistic and the surounding environment is really detailed. Tho home build cockpits brought me here :P
