Thank you so much for this unique and really helpful and outstanding content❤ a really quick question why sometimes at Swiss German they use the pronoun Du and sometimes they don't use it , for example, at 4:55 you said Du tedsch English und Dütsch but at 6:32 you said Musch guet zuelose, and of course there are more examples but you got the idea what I mean, so please I need an answer I'm so confused! and thanks in advance

Thank you!! Yes, it's because you can say both. With or without the pronoun Du. If you want to emphasise on YOU, then you use the pronoun. Otherwise, you can just leave it.

@@SwissGermanBeginners Ahha so interesting, thanks for the explanation, I'm from the US and i live with some swiss and american friends in Züri so i have been capturing a lot of Swiss German verbs but i can't conjugate them with all the pronouns ( ich ,du , er.... ) , for example i can say, Verschtasch = du verstehst , but i can't say sie versteht or wir verstehen, so could you please consider making a conjunction tutorial video for the endings of the verb, then it'd be a super helpfull approach to speak comfortably schwizerdütsch 😁

Is there a big difference between the Zurich dialect and the Bern dialect? Because I'm moving to live in Bern Because I am learning Swiss German through your channel and you speak the Zurich dialect??

@@maroelkady-fh2lk there are quite a few differences but it's always good to just start with one dialect and then you can adapt it to the dialect where you live. Do you know Maira? She teaches Berne dialect on social media as well.
