My Great Uncle was in the Desert Rats, I already have a small force painted up based around his unit and the battles he took part in. There's something much more rewarding when you collect a faction that has personal significance 👍☺️😃

My Great Grandad was part of the Desert rats, he always told me he nver fired a bullet. Threw a lot of grenades tho haha

Growing up I always loved the story of the Siege of Tobruk, the Desert Rats, the Afrika Korps and the North African Campaign.

I’ve recently joined the very welcoming Bolt Action community here in Australia and loving it. I’m working on the Australian 7th Division which is part of the Desert Rats army. My next step is to get the 8th Army guys so I’ve got some Brodie helmet men or “Tin Tops” as I call them for my ambitious Battalion. How I soo need that sweet hardware they come with to! Keep up the awesome work lads!👍🍻

Yh I got the island assault set recently, the quality is just as good at GW and troop prices are a lot less than anything games workshop would sell

A good idea when using artillery in bolt action is to make it your last action so your opponent dosent just move his units away from the spot you have choosen.

My grandad was actually in the desert rats. Part of the 7th armoured brigade he was "black watch regiment". Mechanised infantry. Very keen now to start playing after finding this channel. Very interesting to watch just getting my mates into it too. Good to learn the rules here. Thanks
