A shameful invasion and partition that involved the Katyn mass murders by the Soviets . What inhuman scum were the German armies , the SS and the Einsatzgruppen where ordinary Germans were tranforformed into the basest cruelest murderers that can be possibly be imagined. My heart goes out to the Polish & Soviet peoples . It makes me angry when people winge about the bombing of centre of arms production, rail hub , and focus of death marches & Nazism Dresden . It was unjust that the atomic bombs were dropped on Japan, rather than the planned targets of German cities - if only they had been available 4/5 months earlier, it would literally would have saved hundreds of thousands of lives , even accounting for German civilian collateral deaths
Nah, Japan and Germany deserved it. Someone had to knock some sense of the reality onto them especially Japan. The Japanese (IJA & IJN) at that time were most cruelest monsters that existed in the history of mankind. About Germany, the Soviet Union will obviously not stop until the flag of their Motherland was planted on the Reichstag.
The Pact was a big fib. Documents have come to light since indicating that the Soviets had plans to invade Germany and the Nazis, plans to invade Russia. As it turned out, the German plans were in a more advanced state with, unfortunately, Poland in the way!
One rogue German soldier could have shot and killed Hitler during one of his fraternization tours and likely have prevented the Holocaust and the death of millions of others. It is believed that if England and France and stood up against Hitler at Munich in 1938 a coup was waiting for Hitler when he returned to Berlin
I mean, Poland is a annoying Buffer Zone, thats making with Anti German Policies Politic for the next Vote and blaming most bad on Germany, but we dont want Polish Land and have to pay the modernization Equal pay like for Eastern Germany, which is still poorer and votes more Radical both Left and Right... Also we would have a direct border with Russia and a big Polish Population with Voting power in Germany... (if we give them the rights under the Basic Law article 3..) Could make alot of problems, but also some nice Baltic Coats/East Sea Coast, more Land = cheaper Housing Prices, some more resources and Forest +natural protection areas ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I would remember that Germany decided to start invasion after the Molotov pact with Russia. But nobody declared war to Russia. It's something that should be treated at school. Instead of this being covered or ignored... the history is always written by the winners and that's the problem...
