That's a very good information you have shared. Berlin, although being the capital is still relatively cheaper in terms of housing compared to Munich, Frankfurt or Hamburg. Even Dresden, is fairly lower priced. It is primarily because of the Soviet economic structure. Eastern Germany is relatively lower priced compared to Western Germany.

Great video! thanks for sharing. Travel costs could be more I think depending on the length and number or trips and also the season. So 2000 EUR per year for Europe or local travel is less I feel.

I do not calculate my expenses here in Belgium! Lol. It is expensive here, but bit lesser than Frankfurt for sure. But you gave really good explanation. I stay with a Belgian friend in a house. Pay 350 rent, 85 Euros for electricity , gas connection. Water extra every two months. Then the house insurance we share half half ( I think 280 each per year). Then we share province taxes, enviroment taxes and other common bills. Groceries...have no much idea. Probably 2 to 300 per month. Eating and going out ( pubs) probably 100 or a bit more per month. I get around 800 Euro to 1110 Euro holiday money ( I work only part time now for the time being). I almost spent 700 or more depending on where I go traveling. During the Corona pandemic lockdown, money was saved as nothing was open to go or travel anywhere. I go back to India every year ( 700 to 850 Euro average for flight tickets from Brussels to my town), but since 2020 cant go due to Corona.

Yes, your estimate is perfect. You must also make an video about the kind of jobs where a) the Indians can fit in b) what is the minimum hourly rate and what are the entry level jobs, survival jobs like in coffee shops, etc. That kind of info will let the prospective candidates get a better picture as to how they will be able manage if they go there. How much knowledge should anyone have about the language prior to going there.

Is there any scope to save substantially in German big cities unless you are ready to compromise on quality of living? I worked for Siemens in Karlsruhe, Offenbach (near Ffm) and Erlangen for almost 8 years ( in 90’’s) and opted for a transfer to Singapore. Don’t know how things have changed now. Only noticed that, when I was there last in 2019, that things had become more expensive, less Organised and the driving had become crazy with so many from east Europe and Chinese potting to work there.

@@Vivek_iit . Job is never a 100% guarantee, after completing studies in Germany, or any of the EU countries. But there are stay back options in certain countries, to find a job/ sponsor who is ready to employ you. If you do not find a job before the expiry of date of your student visa, you have to leave the country. I am not a student anymore. So, I don't know the exact information about students. Students are allowed to work only certain hours in a week. If you work more ( there are work place inspections), & they catch you....they just kick you out if the country.

Monthly expense is 2300 euros and I came to know that about 40 Percent is tax...it is really important to have a good job to survive there..

The Tax percentage varies depending on the annual salary. I.e : If annual salary is 1. € 9400 - 0% tax 2. Between €9400 to €57000 - 14-42% tax 3. €57,052-€270,500 - Flat 42% tax 4. €270,501 and above - Flat 45% tax (numbers might vary a bit by appx 1%)
