War Thunder German super heavy tank Maus top tier gameplay in ground realistic battles.
The last German top tier(tech tree) MBT was added 2.5y ago in the New Power update - Leopard 2A6.
So if Gaijin won't give Germany new MBT's we have to improvise. This time we're doing something different, we're taking Maus(and E-100) to the top tier. Can WW2 super heavy tank fight modern MBT's? Let's find out!

Btw a quick tip on leopard 2’s the turret can take 15 shells so if you bring 15 there’s no shells in the body

I'm wondering what they could add thats still in the concept of the game. Obviously the Leo with the 140mm comes to mind, but I think there was also a 130 cannon, and obviously the Leo X Leclerc hybrid, the Leopard 2A7 and the Leo Rev 1 and 2. Same for the 'Brooms we could see the experimental 130mm abrams Of course, with the "preference" of the developers, we're more likely to see the remote-controlled turret Object 195 (Ignore the fact the turret was initially a wooden mockup and later empty..) the prototype Object 292 which was a T80B with a 152mm gun AND the T90M before we get anywhere near seeing anything fun for the west again. I'll be happy to be proven wrong as I was with the Ariete AMV though!

Hmm it would be kinda weird to use the cancelled 140mm Gun for the Leo, the 130mm which is actually tested would make the most sense since that wasn't cancelled but yeah this is War Thunder. The 140mm would probably be an Event/Premium or Squadron Vehicle :D Leo 2A7, 2A7V, 2A7A1 and 2A7+ could come aswell. Same for the 2A8. For the "futuristic" tanks or concepts Abrams X, PL-01, T14 or KF51 would still be viable options but I doubt that they will be in the game until these actually exist :D

@@nicz7694 fun fact that gun actually has been tested by the Swiss and even mounted and tested on a Leo. There's a museum in Switzerland with it and a Pz. 68 hull also with the same gun. It seems that propellant is separate. According to the Swiss, the tank actually passed the tests, managing almost 1 meter's worth of armor penetration without depleted uranium rounds, but due to the political situation of the late 80s, early 90s, with the dissolution of the Warsaw pact, there were no buyers for the project and it was dropped.

@@antonytheocharidis9576 Yep! In the end it all depends on how that could be added in War Thunder. I just hope its not so much concept/blueprint inspired like WoT. Japanese Heavy WW2 Tanks could be a thing aswell (looking at you O-I) since there was also 1 Prototype that had been tested but the project never made it because of Japans lack of Steel. Hope to see some more Tank variants :D

Panzer 3 E and F are faster in forward and reverse then most modern MBTs thats why those are like early ww2 MBTs

The beginning is so true, they have to finally bring the 2A7 and 2A7v, every nation has backup MBTs just Germany has the 2A4 as Backup wich is not quite good at 11.7

hmmm no, they have the 2A6 and 2A5, the 2A4 is irrelivant in top tier now. The 2A7 would only be nice for better thermals but other than that it'd perform identically to the 2A6.

Everybody gangsta in maus until a random high caliber tank shoots them in the undercheek and the shell ricochets downward and destroys the engine and the engine explodes killing crew and possibly making the ammo explode too. Hopefully the Leopard 2 PSO spotted in the game's files will be a tech tree vehicle, and not an event one or premium. I only know that one from CoD: MW3, but it's really cool. Then there's the Leopard 2A7 or 2A7+, and again, I don't know much about those.
