Germany's Romantic Route By Camper Van - Part 1: Würzburg To Rothenburg ob der Tauber

We travel from Wurzburg To Rothenburg ob der Tauber in the first part of our adventure, following the Romantic Route (Romantische Strasse) through Germany. One of the best German road trips!
We also visit Bad Mergentheim too, enjoying what each place had to offer. Such as Marienburg fortress, alte mainbruecke and schloss park in bad mergentheim among many others!
Travelling in our camper van allows us to really see as much of these towns, villages and cities as we go.

Love your pronunciation of German town names! 👍🏼😘 Germany is just beautiful in autumn! Those colourful trees, the castles and old towns. Magical! I'm so happy for you that you got to experience all this. 🙏🏼😌

I am 30s into the video and had to make a pause to recover from the mistreatment of "Würzburg". But I'll continue, the Romantic Road is great and I am curious as to how others perceive it. I hiked most of it this summer.

9:31 This used to be the tax office in the 70ties and my father was working there. The park was a huge parking lot and the castle behind was my middle school. A lot of times I walked that way through the Kurpark and up the hill to the little village where we lived. Ah, beautifull memories. In my opinion, this is still one of the most beautifull places in Germany. What you cannot see is that despite all looks like a fairy tale, there is a lot of industry and people are well off.

So - was that a row in the middle of the park there?? If so, you're very 'nice' about it and quick to get over one I should think! That huge glass of wine would've knocked me flat out on an empty stomach - delicious tho

Hi! We used an app called Park4night, it's really helpful for finding good spots. Germany is very campervan friendly, so it's easy to find nice spots 👍

Haha, we make it work :p truth be told it isn’t that bad, it’s all we know! But our next one will probably be bigger! We each have our own little “area” it works well. But more space is always welcome :)

Thank you :) always appreciate you taking the time to drop us a comment! Our VW is a long wheel base, only the 2 litre though. It's done us well so far... touch wood. It's been great, really reliable thus far, no complaints. Even our LWB is easy to park in "normal" spaces, we've not had 1 issue with being too long. The extra bit of space is well worth it, in my opinion.

A X oh wow! From our limited knowledge based on the price we paid for flora, that sounds about right! What age is it? What a gas guzzler! Flora does about 37MGP X 👍😍🥂

Flora & The Novice Explorers Wow your miles per gallon with flora truly makes good sense 👍👍👍👍 I one I am looking at is one owner from new It's a 2009 4motion LWB with diff lock it's got full history and about 105,000 miles on it. Have a Loverly evening all 🌟🙏🌟
