@@user4j0xo5-qi6qd Western governments can easily untie their hands and reject this asylum claims out of hand. No international law says a nation has to commit cultural suicide.
Germany is an oligarchy, they want their shareholders, friends and family to become richer, not to solve problems or prevent tensions, as that can be easily capitalized upon by various industries. Welcome to the most efficient oligarchy in the world.
If he really wanted to adress the problem he would focus only on the individuals that are committing these kinds of acts, but he doesn't. He doesn't care about that. He just wants to make absolutely sure that no one in his country will be able to legally obtain a fire arm!
Weapens law… honestly it makes me think that these ppl are not intelligent enough for their job! Adding to that there is often no physical security check in such events. So, did they think that someone who is going to kill ppl would not be willing to break the weapon law??? How ridiculous is that?!
@@soundscape26 so just change the laws, and if international laws prohibit that, withdraw form those too. make it so people need to have permission to enter the EU, either by visa or an approved asylum claim. if you don't have one of them you get send back the same day you get caught. make it so there is no wiggle room, either you have permission and are welcome, or you're an intruder and you get kicked out (for at least a decade)
They can't deport immigrants, because they will appeal to stay, and most probably they will get to stay for 2 more years minimum in case their Residency visa was rejected.
@@Flugs0 here is something he wont tell you. Since he and his friends tried and failed to depose Assad, Syria is no longer a friendly nation. How exactly are you going to deport them?
Don't fall for it. He's been saying that for months and hasnt deported anyone thus far. Olaf is doing really bad in the polling, that's why he wants to give you the impression that he's doing something about it!
This is not fixable with stricter laws, harsher punishments, or more police. Public celebrations, pop concerts, museums, etc. etc., all kind of public places will never be 100% safe. And I do not want to live in a country that is 100% safe. Such horror attacks could be reduced by not letting people into a country, who do not accept the way this country is. And it is not only Germany. The same applies for other countries they have similar issues, such as Sweden, Denmark or UK. Therefore, Europe needs to solve the issues together.
You don't see other communities with terror attack, do you? There has to be a distinction between those who create anarchy, violence, religious extremism all over the world
If Scholz really wants to help he must resign. He is the worst Chancellor of my life time. From economy to energy, passing on diplomatic policies everything is terrible under this government.
I'm from India and even if i ever immigrates to European, I'd expect myself to respect the local culture and not impose my culture. I'll assimilate to European culture and contribute to the society. This is how it should be
Guys, I may wear different clothes from you all but the values of Europe will be respected and cherished. We came for opportunities that Europe provides for families. It's upto to the Govt policy about how many skilled workers are needed for the economy. But here's the caveat, the current Europe policy on immigration was bound to have a counter protest from the Right Wing group as the local population was overtaken by the immigrants without any prior background checks. So, it's a failure from the government for allowing undocumented immigration without taking care of the citizens first
Why can rejected asylum seekers walk around freely? Detention under more stringent conditions should work wonders here - significantly increase the willingness to deport.
He couldnt escape due to heavy police presence so he surrendered. So the cops did well even if they didnt find him, they didnt let him escape the area.
Could ECHR rules be updated/modernized to deal with the new situation? European Countries seem to be trying to deal with a serious situation with one arm tied behind their back.
@@fakename6658 German police does not consistently name nationalities when reporting crimes to the public. Hence you are just guessing - in the direction that suits you of course. So no, crime statistics don't show what you imply. Better luck next time.

It's an act of terrorism ,and i feel sad for the victims and their families. Why will anyone attack people going around their normal lives. Why do you go murder them for no reason. It's a wicked evil act.
I am in agreement with a measured in rational response. But it should address the culture involved. Penalties need to extend to all family members and religious affiliations and institutions attended.
This is how you address a terrorist knife attack. He is not mincing words and is speaking with clarity and calling it what it is: terrorism. Love the clarity on immigration issues. He’s not being inflammatory, or tactless. I do disagree on the weapons laws, but I’m also American 😂
Proposed penalties do not address the problem. Leadership is soft on this issue. Listening to the rhetoric it almost seems as though they are too detached.
I'm not writing my opinion about this because I'm afraid someone will knock at my door arresting me for online comments or memes but it's impressive that Europe reached the stage where people are more afraid to share their opinions than skilled engineers who are obviously providing their strength to our society are from stabbing innocent individuals.
These things didn't happen when you only allowed people in your country with visas. When you only allowed people with education and skills to immigrate, when you only allowed people in who had housing and a job.
"Germany to strengthen laws on migration". Even Monty Python would be unable to turn this into a comedy sketch. Some things are beyond satire; and present day Germany is one of them. Such a wonderful country it used to be: Then they elected a certain chancellor; the rest is history.
@@user4j0xo5-qi6qd I`m assuming you meant to ask: "do you live in Germany ?";.....No, I do not. But I have German friends, and I have visited several times. Seeing what is happening to Germany is not something I derive any pleasure from; quite the opposite. But among many things that are beyond satire is Germany`s attempt to show how tolerant and protective it is about democracy and how far they have come from the dark days of the 1930`s by attempting to ban political parties who`s ideas it doesn`t like: something that hasn`t been contemplated since................the dark days of the 1930`s.
@@jimred5700 Well, I've been living in Germany for many years and It's still a wonderful country. Far-right ideology is not acceptable for the vast majority Germans and it also goes against constitutional law. True is, the current government is not very popular mostly due to the FDP and Greens but let me remind you the problems with immigration, and lack of reform in areas such as bureaucracy and pensions did not start with this government. Many ppl vote AfD not out of conviction but disappointment or frustration with main stream politics

A very sad and unfortunate event. May the souls of the departed rest in peace. We condemn all sorts of violence and hope that this will not hinder the good reputation of some of us that have been staying here for a decade now and doing well within our capacity to fit in the German society.
The government will never do anything significant, it benefits them too greatly. The only way things will change is if the people take matters into their own hands, and that won't be pleasant for anyone.

"Wir shaffen das" - the most dangerous words ever spoken in newer times by a European state leader... I hope Germany and Sweden can and will contain those invitees inside their own borders.. The rest of EU must instate hard borders to Germany and Sweden. Both countries refused to listed to reason in 2015 now we see the result of illegal migration of people that does not share our European values such as freedom, democracy, liberty for women, freedom of speech ect... Germany and Sweden you are responsible for the downfall of the European cohesion inside EU as well as Orban sucking up to Putin and in the end Brexit..
I think the UK were genuinely and had a valid concern over the possibility of Turkey joining the EU. Terror attacks and the possibility of Turkey joining the EU I believed pushed the Brexit result. It's a shame because the UK decided to leave the EU in response to the riff raff of non Europeans flooding Europe.
We can talk as much as we want, the people that are affected are the families of those deaths. Their life will never be the same. Secondly the ai algorithm on social media is getting worse. Before you needed to like something to get something alike to be shown to you. Now if you look at a fascist or extremist post. The ai will just show you more of those videoclips, so basically people get deeper in extremist ideas.
It's time to stop talking the talk and walk the walk. Talk is cheap and a trait of the ego that will say anything to stay in power or get what it wants.
May the victims rest in peace and their family members loved ones and friends find comfort in their love🙏 Like at airports, perhaps the Government would start checking bags at checkpoints, tighten laws, denounce physical, on line violence and launch moral science education🙏

The solution is to strengthen your family structure and boost your own population. Short of that, you will pay a heavy price, by allowing immigrants without proper vetting. Most of those immigrants are running away from chaos on their soils.
It is better to adapt measures to prevent people from coming and to find better solutions on how to deal with the people who are already here. The government promises everytime when very bad things happen...Scholz also had said this last time.
