@@Muli_mit_illum No,3 Para were in Osnabruck,in barracks on Landwehr Strasse, till I think 1979ish. I was in the same camp but not in 3Para.

US marines only have a 3 month basic training, and that's the longest in all of the branches of the US military. You think having twice that amount of training is pointless?

Believe it or not, Germany is not a part of the US. They have their own language. That's why they're called the "German" army. They speak German.
