About me:
I am Anna - an explorer, traveler, and global citizen who originated in Mother Russia. No, I wasn’t born rich, I worked since the age of 17 because my family couldn’t afford my education even in Russia, where it’s actually free. From the young age, I know how to achieve goals and I am glad to help you to do it too!
The last 5 years I have spent in Germany, Greece, Austria, and India working, studying, or volunteering. Currently, I am pursuing my big goal - a bachelor in International Business in Austria.
On this platform, I am helping people from around the world move to Germany to work, study, or start a business.

Thanks for the video, I have been thinking to move to Germany. The cost of living in the Netherlands is ridiculous compared to salaries. And as you said the housing market is so expensive.

For agricultural studies one should absolutely go to Wageningen, the Netherlands. And for water management I would advise that country too.

I applied to study at German universities and I did not get accepted, even though I speak German B1 and have a very good qualification. IMO they are not so welcoming to non-EU people in their Unis. Later I applied to the Netherlands and got accepted within 24 hours at the UvA 😦 I'm so happy for the opportunity in the Netherlands, who have been very professional in the whole enrollment, housing, visa processes.

You need at least B2 to study in a German study programm. Most programms require actually C1.

Good info. You forgot to mention what every foreigner mentions about the Dutch. They are extemely direct. We mean that in a matter of fact way. No harm intended. But if you are not used to it, it may come as a surprise attack on your pride.

Same as the Germans. People think we are rude, when in fact we just tell them bluntly what's what. Like you guys do.

Good information. But from what you said, Germany is pretty much superior. The only benefit I see in the Netherlands is the wide use of the English language. But if you wanna stay in either country you have to learn the language eventually.

You cannot compare bruto salaries of both countries because there is a huge difference in after tax salaries

Germans have 3000 types of hard and dry breads. Holland has alot of nice fluffy and soft breads that are actually nice to eat. And we have the best peanutbutter in the world.

your comparisons are flawed, mainly because u compare a smaller country at the northsea with a bigger country with much more diversity. and since in Germany you have much more companies from small to world class huge companies (not just all the big car companies like mercedes, vw, bmw, audi etc. but also many global middle class champions) they have of course by FAR more English speaking jobs and jobs in general of all kind. Same goes with the language comparison: statistically the Netherlands are ahead, but again: you have much more English speakers in Berlin (often many spots dont speak German anymore) than for instance in regions (especially in the east and the more rural ones - they learned Russia back then, except the younger generation) with lower English skills. This means again, due to the higher diversity the statistics does not reflect the real situations. English should actually be no problem in all major cities - and thats also the experience all expat make, while in some other regions the difficulty is higher (which lowers the overall statistics but you cannot generalize every region in Germany due to those bigger gaps).

You really have some audio issues I had to turn my laptop to 86%: maybe either speak louder or turn up the volume on your video. Let's be fair regarding one thing: Germans pay a LOT of tax when it comes to work, health insurance and most of their money ends up going to some pension that they'll never see until they are 70+ so if we're going based on Salary - honestly, the "higher wage" is misleading and you'll probably end up losing most of it on bills and tax - so if your main reason for moving is money maybe look elsewhere.
