I would be really interested to see how Germany holds up, many young and new players. In recent years they have had real difficulties after the 2014 World Cup. Since then we haven’t had a really good DFB game except now.

I agree with him regarding how good Germany looked. For me they must be one of the favourites now. I thought it was crazy we were outright favourites. I think from an England point of view we can take some notes. Forget all this nonsense about playing all out attack. Its never going to happen. No country does it. I would go as far as saying almost every team sets up to be hard to beat and quite defensive. And what Germany did well was be very organised and they pressed really well. But when they got the ball they quickly got Wurz and especially Musiala involved. The problem is we only have player in the team that can dribble and carry the ball like him, and thats Eze. He has to start. I don't mind Gordon either as he commits defenders. Against a defensive team, you need dribblers, especially when we don't play great football.
