It wasnt his best outing but he still pitched well and got the offense support we needed

He is no matter what. Our Ace in the Rotation. It wasn't his best outing. But he did the job done giving us 6 Innings with 8K. The Offense continued to Rise. So overall was a great team Performance.

If Garcia can get game 2 it's a bonus, when they know they will have Tanaka and Cole left in the series to deal with. I love this strategy Boone..

I like going with Garcia in game 2. If they held him for a later game it would be even more pressure on him. Up one game he shouldn’t feel like it is do or did. Cole likely won’t start again in this series. Has never pitched on 3 days rest. Tanaka in game 3 and Happ game 4. Hopefully there won’t be a game 5.

This is what the Yankees have been missing every postseason (with maybe the exception of Tanaka). A guy who can make a mistake or two but STILL keep the team in the game. This signing is paying off so far IMO.

Cut your hair Cole! Don't disrespect the Yankees tradition. No player is above Yankees tradition. Tyler Wade needs to especially cut his hair he is in no position to challenge Yankees policy.

Maybe, but I definitely think it wasn’t a good idea to start Snell before Glasnow. Glasnow would be a better arm for game 5 if it comes to it for the Rays. The Yanks bounce Snell around fairly often, and when Glasnow is dialed in, his stuff is unhittable. Go Yanks.
